Drake sighed and gazed across the academy grounds. So much had happened in the past year. Several seiges by the Dark Rider, Sethius, the revival of ancient, cursed dragons, students betraying the academy then returning, then the return of the Draenix. His eyes settle don the mountains in the distance, where he could just make the outline of a fortress, buried into the rock. Drake sat down on the grass, fumbling for something in his pocket. After retrieving it, he held it in his palm. It was a green stone, buried into a small disk of gold. Their were holes for string to pass through at the top, and a small, gold thread went through them. I will find you He whispered to the wind, fingers closing around the amulet. --- Ignisis stood before the tomb that he and Krediath had travelled for weeks to reach. Krediath had gone inside, leaving Ignisis alone in the deserrt sands. Suddenly, the tomb was torn apart, with Krediath standing next to the centre. What was before him stunned Ignisis. Curled into a ball, no larger than your average sheild, was a silver mass. It was surrounded by a blue, pulsating energy, which seemed to seep the energy from the ground below it. Suddenly the mysterious bubble burst, standing in its place was something not dissimilar to a Valkian, yet some of its features were odd. The helmet and armour was thinner and Aerodynamic, clearly suited for long flying. The Valkian also had a much larger wingspan, with it being nearly twenty feet, compared to the normal thirteen. Ignisis suddenly recognised what he was looking at. It wasnt a Valkian. It was Imoah, or Devala Val Mahyra as Dragons reffered to him. Krediath bowed, as did Ignisis, before the legendary warrior. He was part of the very first story in the Dragon Riders Archive. --- As Imoah awakened, as did something else. Argrathon, the Draenix Lord, raised his head to the tunnel above him, seeing daylight for the first time in over a million years
