RuneScape Classic is the original version of RuneScape, and is available to those players who have active RuneScape Classic accounts.
Our focus since the days of RuneScape Classic has been on the main RuneScape game, which is far more advanced. The main reason we are keeping RuneScape Classic online is to support some of our loyal players who have been with us for years, and to offer an opportunity for curious new players to try it out (who logged in to play from 11th November 2009 to 25th November 2009).
The current version of RuneScape - which the majority of our players use - remains open to all of our members and free players.
