Jagex is proud to present RuneFest 2010! RuneFest 2010 will be the first ever real-world event of its size for RuneScape players. Taking place on Saturday 28th August, the event will be held at an exciting central London venue.

RuneFest will include a range of events and activities, with more details to follow in the coming weeks. Crucially, we will be including Insider Sessions with the team behind RuneScape as an opportunity for the players and ourselves to get to know each other better.

We�re holding the event as a fan celebration to thank our dedicated RuneScape players around the world for their support and to have a really good time together in real-life. In Andrew�s own words, "I�ve always wanted to go to an event like this, but I realised the only way that was going to happen was if we put it on ourselves. So we are!"

Keep an eye on www.RuneFest.com to keep up to date with the latest news and information about this landmark event, and make sure you register for updates and the opportunity to buy a ticket 24 hours before the rest of the world.

Please note that alcohol will be available at this event, for which proof of age will be required. Because of this, the event will only be suitable for our adult fans.

Whilst the event is aimed at adults you will be able to attend if you are 16 years or over. However, only those over 18 will be able to drink alcoholic beverages.

Hi guys,

Since launching the RuneFest 2010 site on Saturday, the forums have been buzzing with chat and questions about the event.

To make sure we don�t miss your question in the hubbub, we'll make sure to post a J-Mod here to keep on top of your questions and feedback.

Although the RuneFest 2010 site has an FAQ on it, we�ll also add additional frequently asked questions to this first post as we go.
