Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, it's about a monster but also about an item, so.. I don't know

I'm looking to get a ton of crimson charms so I will be killing waterfiends and want the best rate of crimson charms/hr.

I currently use a saradomin sword, extremes, turmoil and get around 90 crims per hour in the ancient caverns. Will a chaotic maul get more than this despite its slow speed?

The only reason I'd get a maul is to kill waterfiends (I don't pk) so I want to be really sure I'd get a better rate of charms before I spend 200k tokens.

Another question I have is how people manage to get 200+ crims per hour at chaos tunnels. I went there once with a steel titan/scrolls, turmoil and extremes and only got 120

I would say no. It's the same logic that the saradomin sword is better than the godswords at wfs. While the maul beats godswords, it also takes a whopping 200k tokens, and you admit you won't give it much more use. So I advise not too

As for the chaos tunnels, no idea on that, only 88 summon.

I say Maul is a waste of time just for waterfiends.
