Maybe a new Runecrafting Altar may be on it's way. I not sure if Jagex have mentioned this, but anyways. Two peices of evidence says so.

1. Photos of Soul Tiara and Talisman on the knowledgebase, somewhere

2. There is a Soul Altar rift in the Abyss, but when you try to enter is says "A strange power blocks your exit". Which means there will be a quest to ward away/kill this power.

Post your thoughts on a Soul rune altar and what you think the quest might be about.

Oh and I don't want to hear how they have already anncouned it if they have. Don't worry abut posting if that's all you have to say.

This is actually quite exciting. I would love to have an update like this. ^^
I'm not sure what would happen to the price of soul runes though. What are your thoughts regarding the prices?

^It would reach stupidly high prices for some time, after which it would become useless and return to RuneScapes present state of failed economy.
Happens with every new item/update regarding items.

Where did you see those pictures of the soul altar in the KLB?

It was in a Postbag, I think it was a while back so. =\ But the strongest evidence is the Rift in the Abyss.

Well, actually soul runes are already about 160gp so it's probably going to crash even more instead of rising.

there is a very high chance of this happing because a few years ago you could not make death runes or blood runes now you can make them both this would be a very good update to give to runecrafting but the only problem is it will most likely require high levels to craft because generally the runes that cost the most are only used with higher level spell and scince soul runes are used in high level spells it will most likely require in the 80s to make i see this completely pointless if it is done this way be cause no person with high runecrafting would make runes that you make very little profit to unless they have extremely amazing xp like at least over 1k xp per load. so in my opinion if they do plan to make a soul rune alter they should make it so that you get lots of xp if it requires 80 plus or make it around i don't say level 57.
