NOTE: I have made a Concentrated Gold Guide already but I want to add more detail to this guide and have more reserves.

-

Welcome to my Concentrated Gold Mining guide. In this guide I will discuss what I believe are efficient strategies to train mining for high leveled players.

I am currently going for 200m Mining xp via Concentrated Gold. I am going to show you my method of training with excellent detail on everything you need to know.

I have 99 Mining with over 20m xp (and counting).

IT IS CONFIRMED BY A JAGEX MOD THAT ROCKS COLLAPSE RANDOMLY, AND IT IS NOT THE MORE PEOPLE THAT MINE IT, THE LONGER IT LASTS.

2. Concentrated gold(CG)

a.New comers intro:

There are two types of rock formation in the caverns: Concentrated coal (level 77 Mining) and Concentrated gold deposits (level 80 Mining). We are going to focus more on Concentrated gold deposits. Unlike other ores, these rocks are mined like pure essence in that you can mine multiple ores with a single click. However, after a while of mining, these rock formations can collapse, requiring you to find another formation rich in gold.

Inside the living rock caverns is a deposit box. That's where you can dump all your ores and other items. Run south from the deposit point in to the living rock creatures. There is one gold deposit west of you, and one to the south east. These are the two you should be mine for effective xp/hour. The south east deposits has an easy safespot on it's east side. The western deposit is more difficult because you are exposed to the living rock creatures. If a Living Rock Creature is attacking you, run to the other side of the rock until it has stopped, then it is safe to resume mining.

When both gold deposits are collapsed, there are coal deposits nearby that you can mine until the concentrated gold respawns.

b.Location/Best way to get there(imo)

There are many ways to get to the Living Rock Caverns. My way is to teleport to Edgeville. Go north west towards the Prayer guild(Monastery) go south from there then onwards to the Dwarven Mine. Once inside go south towards the red exclamation mark on your map and climb down the rope.

b.Items

II.Enhanced Excalibur

The Enhanced Excalibur, obtained from the Lady of the Lake has a full-bar special that can be used during combat or without combat. It boosts your Defence by 15% and restores 4 Constitution every 4.2 seconds. The Enhanced Excalibur can heal 200 Constitution per 5 minutes. In many cases this is a far better way to get HP than using Guthans.

b.Items

III.Regen Bracelet

Regen Brace(Full name is a Bracelet of Regeneration) It is player made by enchanting an Onyx bracelet and is a possible drop from the Corporeal Beast. I would choose this over Barrows Gloves as it comes in handy. It Gives 2 hp back at the same rate it usually takes to get 1 hp back. It stacks with Rapid Heal prayer and Lunar spell Dream.
