Hello! Welcome to the Mod Tytn Appreciation Thread V2! This thread is now a joint-operation between Cerff and myself. All of the info on Mod Tytn's contributions to the game can be found in Cerff's posts below. Now onto the topic.

Mod Tytn! One of the unsung "Hero's" of RuneScape, and Master of Quest Development.

A little background information:

Mod Tytn is one of the Lead Content Developers for RuneScape.

Mod Tytn is most famous for his work on Quests, ranging from the Legends' Quest to While Guthix Sleeps. The general idea, Mod Tytn has a mind of which none of us could even begin to comprehend. He works hard to make excellent content for us, and it's time for some appreciation.

In short, Mod Tytn has done a lot for the RuneScape community but gets very little attention. He has developed numerous quests and mini-games that we all enjoy and it's about time we showed him our appreciation. So! If you support Mod Tytn and appreciate all that he's done feel free to post your favorite quest/mini-game or just leave him a kind message. I will keep a count of supporters but not a list.

So Thank you Mod Tytn for all you've done, and we hope to see more from you in the future!

- This thread is NOT a 'Fan Club' it is an Appreciation Thread. The thread is meant as a 'Thank You' and nothing more. The last thing I want is for this thread to be viewed as just another 'fan club'.

- Bumps are not needed, I've kept this thread alive myself since September of 2009. I will only allow "bumps" of this nature when am going to be away for a extended period. I will then leave the thread in someones hands they may then "bump" the thread but only after page 10. (Cerff now has full permission to bump whenever she sees fit)

As for the Myreque quest series, I love writing them and hopefully we'll see some movement in that direction soon!

However, no developer is an island and it's only with the great support of all my colleagues that we're able to deliver such cool stuff into the game.

As Caistlyn said, both of us are fully capable of keeping this thread alive, if one of us is going away or something and will in turn need bumps, I'll say on this post and he'll say on his.

The next quest we know Mod Tytn is working on is Part 5 of the Myreque Questline, however on the old thread he said this when asked about its development and it coming out this year:


"Hey and sorry for the disappointment but this seems pretty unlikely.

But we're all working on other great projects which I'm sure you'll like just as much!

Also, Tytn said on the old thread he is currently working on Hunter and Prayer updates. It's safe to assume these are the projects mentioned in the above post

Here's the quote from the old thread:
