Combat and Prayer

At low levels combat is a pain to train, however, by doing quests it is very easy to hit late 30s to early 40s in combats where you can start training a little better or as Cremeans0 suggests: Kill cows, cook the meat for food and collect the hides for crafting.

At 40-60 combat the best place I found for training (money wise) is Dark Wizards in the Dark Wizard tower as these drop many runes that people look for or you can simply use yourself and at 40+ defense they will never do enough damage to you for you to require food. There are about 12 Dark Wizards in the tower about 6 of which are level 25 and the other 6 are level 13.

Drops of interest: Laws(1k per), Bloods(1k per), Natures(500 per), Elemental Runes and Chaos Runes(100-200 per).

Also depending on your food stores Giants below varrock are a good source of big bones(15 prayer xp per) and Limp roots(1-5k per) as well as just GP and the occasional runes(laws best) drop. The Hobgoblins in this area are also conveniently aggressive and drop many limp roots to help boost your bank.

However, perhaps you are in need of some herbs, vials, laws and airs? In which case the Chaos Druids below edge(level 1-5 wildy) drop many of these and are best tackled with a Rune Plate, Legs and DBA\R2H. Simply bank when full and sleep. Selling herbs is rather hard and the prices vary significantly, however, irits(5k per), kwuarms(10k per+) and cads(15k per+) make this well worth it.

At level 50+ melees Otherworldy Beings are your best bet as they are close to a bank, drop wicked items (including d square halves(50m) and d med helms(10m)) and hit pretty terribly for a level 66 (6 was highest i was hit). I would go with these from 50 until you finish legends. Downsides are they will sometimes retreat at low hp, so watch for that and the decent drops are few and far between. Oh, and they are flooded by autoers which is always irritating.

Ranging and Maging.

Starting magic: "Also, I found the best way to start magic was to definitely do Witch's potion. It gives you a nice boost in level to start out with and all the ingrediants you need for the quest are right there around her house. Then you can head over to varrok and buy an air staff from zaff. That got me on a good head start"

The best places I have found for easy range\mage XP is Port Sarim jail and Ardy Guard Dogs at the ardy mansion.

Both of these are behind cages so you don't need to worry about getting hit and provide excellent XP for minimal effort.

Only problem with ranging in the jail (where most lower levels can train effectively) is that you cannot get your arrows back without telegrabbing them, not worth it at all. However, with guard dogs at higher levels you can easily walk around and collect your arrows so losing your 3-5k initial arrows is not really that painful.

The best place for high leveled rangers(60+) is King Lanthas' training grounds which has a cage of level 58 ogres to train range on and there is also a bed an a store which sells arrows, arrow heads, bows, bolts and crossbows. A wicked place to train range. Only downside is that the quest Biohazard is a requirement for it.

Cooking:

The easiest method I have found is simply buying raw lobster
\shark certs and uncerting at Owen (catherby certer for sharks\bass) or at Draynor with Niles.

For Owen you simply uncert (far right hand corner building in catherby) walk next door and cook on the range then bank. Sleeping bag + certs is all that is required.

For Draynor, you need Certs, a WC axe, a Tinderbox, Sleeping bag and 1 random item. Then you cash in your 5 certs for lobs, cut a tree, light your fire, cook your lobs and bank. This is a very fast method for cooking and takes very minimal effort.

Fishing.

Basically from level 20 onwards the easiest method is to fly fish in lumbridge. I picked lumbridge because it means, if I want to, I can take a WC axe and tinderbox and simply fish a load of trout\salmon, take 1-2 steps. Cut a tree down and cook away. Once all are cooked simply eat\drop and continue. Eating an invent full takes 10 seconds max.

I used this method from 1-50+ fishing with no problems at all, apart from boredom at the later stages. It is one of the fastest ways for both Fishing and Cooking xp that I have seen.

Lobsters should either be done in the Fishing Guild (and certed) or at catherby where you can choose to bank\cook then bank.

Sharks should also be done in the Guild or at Catherby.

Fletching:

Arrows, here, are your friend. I simply cut as many arrow shafts as I require, collect the feathers from chickens (3 spots for chickens - Lumbridge next to the cow pen, lumbridge next to the windmill and south of falador at the farm) attach the feathers to the shafts and either:

A) Mine and smith my own arrow heads (preferable)
or
B) Buy arrowheads from Hickton in Catherby, he has 200(base starting amount) arrow tips ranging from bronze through to rune, with a few world hops and breaks you can amass enough to satisfy all fletching needs.

If you really want to make bows Seers is the best place to cut whichever logs you need and it is also one of the best places for bowstrings. A match made in heaven. More about bowstrings in the CRAFTING section.

Mining and Smithing

Powermining: The best powermining spots I have found depend on your level. Almost anyone below level 70 should powermine tin + copper. It is immensely fast due to the fact you barely ever fail. How I do it is to go to Dwarven Mines and go just east of the Pick Axe seller and there is an area with 4 rocks: 1 iron, 1 tin and 2 copper. Mine 1 iron followed by the other 3 rocks then drop the copper\tin and mine another Iron ore. Once your invent is full of iron just powermine copper and tin and collect the gems that occasionally fall. Bank whenever you feel the need.

I personally used this method from 35-49 mining.

At 43+ mining (you 1 hit a lot of iron at 43+) the iron deposits south of ardy (south of the drunk monk from Monks Friend quest) are very fast for XP.

If you are mining to make steel bars the fastest iron deposits I have found have been southeast of varrock and coal can be done in either the mining guild OR ardy, just south of legends guild.

Smithing: Falador is the best place to smelt your bars, or Al Kharid. They are both very close to a bank and it basically boils down to personal preference.

Best anvil I have found is at varrock east. Bank is just north of the anvils.

Woodcutting and Firemaking:

The best Woodcutting spots I have found are at lumbridge and seers.

Lumbridge is best used for firemakers as the woodcutting xp itself is very slow, however, firemaking wise it is very good due to the fact that if you have a full inventory all the logs will drop to the ground.

At higher levels for woodcutting you can cut at seers. There is every type of tree there and a bank to help you out too ;)

Crafting:

The best crafting XP I found up to level 31 (Lost City requirement) was from 1-10 using quests + cowhides and 10-31 on bowstrings. Bowstrings I did in seers, south of the bank there is a field full of flax, pick a load of flax and go into the house (there is a block of 4, it is the north west one) and go upstairs to the Spinning Wheel and use all your flax on it then bank and repeat.

[Higher levelled information needed]

Herblaw:

Hands down best place for herbs, vials and the occasional seconds are Chaos Druids. Chaos druids below edge drop all the things essential to herblaw. However, they drop very few seconds so I shall help you there.

Vials: Ardy general store (above Zoo) has a stock of 10 that refills very fast and is faster than walking to Taverly to buy.
Eyes of Newt: Buy at taverly shop (Druidic Ritual store) and bank at falador or port sarim and bank at draynor.
Limp roots: Best to kill hobgoblins, drop very fast. Best found next to Meltzars Maze.
Whiteberries: Found at the red dragon pen in the high level wilderness, pick and bank at mage bank for best results.
Snape Grass: Spawns next to Meltzars Maze for fast collection.
Unicorn Horns: For low amounts kill just south of edge, for more kill the Black Unicorns in the wilderness.
Red Spiders Eggs: Found in edge dungeon, north of the wildy entrance. Where the red spiders are, funny that. 4-5 spawns here.
Blue Dragon scales: Found in Taverly dungeon, need jail key to reach them.
Zammy wines: Found north of members gate, need telegrab to effectively collect them.
