Description
In Lexicominos you have to move and rotate the falling, letter-covered shapes to make words of between three and eight letters. Ratchet up your highscore by making as many words as possible - the longer the better - and multiply your score by creating more than one word at a time! Will you be the last word on Lexicominos, or will it spell 'the end' for you?
FAQs
1. Can a single tile be part of more than one word?A single tile can be part of one across word and one down word. It can't be part of two words across or two words down. If two words in the same direction overlap, then the longest word is used, or the topmost/leftmost if they're the same length. 2. What's the best way to get a good score? The key to getting a good score is by making longer words, creating more than one word at a time and with chains of words. 3. Why didn't Lexicominos accept my perfectly cromulent word?If you're playing in English, make sure you're playing with the correct dictionary. We have British English and American English dictionaries. For example, the British English dictionary would accept the word 'colour', whereas the American English dictionary would accept the word 'color'. 4. What's the difference between the Standard and Delicate modes? In Standard mode, the speed at which the blocks move and rotate only increases until level 4. In Delicate mode, it increases until level 8. The increase in speed means you'll need to think of words much faster, but you'll also be able to move blocks faster, too. 5. What are the minimum specifications for this game? The minimum specifications we recommend for this game are:
