Hey everyone, welcome to V6 of the Santa Hat thread!
This thread is for discussing Santa Hat prices, trends, and predictions.

In the future, will Santa Hats ever reach Partyhat status?

In my opinion, the GE price of Santa Hats could reach the GE price of Partyhats, but not the street. There are just way many more Santa Hats in-game, then Partyhats. The 1% update margin on Partyhats will allow Santa Hats GE price to reach Partyhats if Santa Hats continue to rise.

Santa Hats ARE very hoarded, as you may know, one person alone has more than 2000+. They are also an easy way to profit, updating anywhere from everyday to 1-2 days.

- What are Santa Hats currently going for in GE? Are they bought out? Above/below mid?

- Will the hoarding of mass Santa Hats continue?

- Will Santa Hats become near impossible to snipe off the GE like Partyhats?

- After every dip, are more "panicers" swapping Santa Hats with hoarders?

- Will Santa Hats every stabilize?

"A Santa hat is an item of clothing that was the last tradeable holiday drop, as part of the 2002 Christmas event. They were dropped only on 25 December 2002. All day they appeared randomly on the ground all over RuneScape, in batches about every six minutes. A player could pick up as many as they wanted.

Although Jagex at the time described them as 'just a bit of fun', they have since become an expensive and much-coveted item amongst players. Even if a player does not own a Santa hat, they can borrow one from a player who does via the Item Lending feature.

All players can wear a Santa hat on their head. They give no statistic bonuses on the main game, although they give +3 Magic on RuneScape Classic.

I can already see Santa hats price turning around. in a day or two they will be med GE, then max and in a week above GE. But as for how long that will last, i couldnt tell you
