Quick find code: 188-189-39-60953920 Idea - Players can smith items of higher quality than Rune Summary - By requiring players to have multiple skills at 80+ Jagex can introduce high level player made armor and weapons that won't unbalance the game. Assume that Mithril is level 20, Adamant is level 30, Rune is level 40, Granite is level 50, Obsidian/Dragon is level 60, and Barrows/Crystal is level 70. Players with Smithing 80 to 99 can make Level 40 items. With Smithing and one other skill (like Crafting) at 80 to 99 skill level, then a player can make Level 50 items. With four skills 80 to 99 she can make level 60 items. With eight skill she can make level 70. At this point, Jagex can open up the smithing skill to be maxed at 120. With smithing 100 to 119 players can make Level 80 items. With two skills 100 to 119 players can make Level 90 items. Etc, etc. Jagex can further limit the impact on game economy by introducing factors to raises tedium or cost. Example would be having to mine or fish or burn items that have a 1 in 100 (or higher) chance of producing a usable item to make higher level armor. In addition, these intermediate materials can be made untradeable to ensure only one player does it. Combo-skill concept is made to be applied to smithing and works well into Runescape concept. Make it happen Jagex.
