This comment is to bring another part of the castlewars update to light. More concrete: the newly added castlewars hiscores.

I used to play it long ago, back when I was one of the only people who could cast ice barrages to give you some perspective . I spent many months at cw because I genuinely enjoyed it and I wanted to get 1800 tickets to put a golden CW suit in my house.

Ever since I reached my goal, my gold cw suit has been proudly on display in my house for what must be more than 2 years now.

After the CW update I was amazed to see I wasn't ranked (I expected to be at least in the top 5K with my amount of tickets ). Soon after I found out why.

People are apparently ranked by the amount of tickets they own, and those of us that put our tickets mostly in an armor suit in our houses were forgotten. Our CW adventuers are lost to the histories because we didn't have our CW rewards banked, but chose to display them in our houses instead.
I did take off my armor btw. I have all my tickets banked again, but still no rank

Surely this is an oversight by jagex. I hereby try to point their attention to this issue.

Secondary remark : Fix the damned POH floor surfaces already! I get a headache everytime I walk through my house.
EDIT: So you fixed the POH floors. Great . But there still are several surfaces that glitch the same way. The water in the tentacle pool in the oubliette, for example. Also: the octagon on the floor of the dwarven consortium building where the dwarf traders are :o.

Couldn't agree with you more. I mean really, the people who actually try to earn tickets aren't just going to keep a random 8k tickets laying around in their bank (un-like alot of people in the highscores). NORMAL people would spend them on the golden armours, etc. I don't get JaGex at all sometimes.

Hopefully this gets fixed so you can get on the highscores

Thanks And yes, buying the gold armor is what most ppl do, but the only ones getting owned by this update are those that put their tickets in a suit in their skill hall in POH.

You can't be ranked for something that just came into the game. That's like saying rank me #1 for Bounty Hunter Rogue because I killed thousands of people throughout my career. It starts when the update is added.

I played in the past too, spending around 100M on ice barrage runes to have some fun. I was never ranked for that ... its the new age. I understand your point though, about buying the armor and not getting the rank for it. I would be mad too ... :S I actually dropped over 800 tickets when I quit because I never thought they would update the game. Look at me now .. mad at myself.

if it starts when the update is added, surely everyone should start at rank 0 games played?

Hmm, you do NOT start at one as I have a score 1081 putting me at 1.8k rank this is fairly accurate.

Seems your right on the POH theory and that does need fixed.

I agree they should fix this for those who put it in their POH. I havent played CW in about 3 years, but i had some armor and tickets in the bank which gave me a score of 1500+.

I hope this is an oversight and it gets resolved for those who spent a lot of time playing this "activity".

I am also guessing that you can not get the 1k games achievement cape? That would be a shame considering thats like 500 hrs game time.
