RuneScape Forums

Since those of us that actually play Classic already know, many "dead" threads have been getting bumped lately. IMHO, the majority of those who are bumping said threads are either Non-Member players, or Non-Classic players.

My Suggestion:

Make the RS Classic Forums like MEMBER Forums. For those who are either FTP, or Non-Classic players, these forums should be RESTRICTED from replying by said players. They utilize this feature on the RS2 Boards, and I believe they should do so here for those of us who care about RSC and play this version seriously.

I would like to see how the rest of the Classic Community feels on the matter....and any other possible solutions the controllers of the Forums might be able to implement on OUR behalf to secure the RSC Forums from spammers and the like.

SUPPORT would be appreciated greatly. This is OUR community, and it needs OUR help to preserve its integrity.

I definitely support this! I am really tired of all this random thread reviving.

However, I think it should just be restricted to Classic players. I am currently FTP, will be getting membership again soon, but it would stink to not have access to the Classic forums because I'm in limbo.

Definite support though.

The second paragraph says FTP, OR Non-Classic Players....I was already taking into acount RSC players that temp lose membership.

Slooooow audience. Bet if I said RSC needs updates of something stupid like that, I would have dozens of replies already....
