We all love a little Gp, okay, we love a lot of Gp.
I started woodcutting again just the other day.
And we all know, when bird nests fall out of the tree,
we get a seed or ring of some sort, possibly a
VERY good seed.
First bird's nest that fell for me when I started WC again, had a Yew seed (worth 84k.)
But since i've been woodcutting,
i've gotten about 6 bird nests.
Four of which I missed (2nd one had an Acorn).
I have come to realize, bird's nests don't stay on the ground very long, they actually disappear within seconds. And it frustrates me, because who knows what I could've gotten in those bird nests that I missed. What i'm saying is, when a birds nest "falls", it should automatically go into your inventory. (so it's not missed)
Just missed one while on the forums, and with the sound on.

You DO realise not EVERYONE has their sound on, right?

I turn mine off and listen to music. I have no real way of knowing there's a bird's nest unless I'm looking at myself Woodcut, and you know I ain't. I usually get on another website to pass the time while I'm bored. >.<

On topic(I think):
In my journey getting 99 Woodcutting, I have missed a LOT of bird nests. It happens, move on.

They don't disappear within seconds. It's the same as any other item left/dropped on the ground.

If you don't want to pay attention, then you might miss a few seeds. If you don't want to miss a good seed, then pay better attention.

It's a matter of priority, I guess. I have no opinion about either.

100% support and no they do NOT last as long as a dropped item, their 4 if not 5 times quicker to disappear, i non stopped 85-99 woodcutting and i missed upwards of 50 nests 2 out of every3 were either un visable due to where i was standing or because they vanished far quicker than need be, why not have clue scroll rewards drop on the ground? or gems while mining drop on the ground? oh thats right, itd be stupid and un logical, they should infact end up in your inventory and if ur somehow full, then on the ground with a longer emergence rate, more often than not i hear "god damnit i missed another 1" over "yay nest" doesnt that have something to say? suppooooorrrrttteeedd!!!!

Yeah, because its a birds nest that fell out of tree, not a monster drop, actually. again. THE SKILL IS WOODCUTTING. NESTS ARE A BONUS.

CLUE SCROLL REWARDS = BASICALLY THE WHOLE POINT OF A CLUE. THE REWARD IS DROPPED *FROM* YOUR INVENT TO THE GROUND. SO IT COUNTS AS A DROPPED ITEM, NOT A DROP. ENTIRELY DIFFERENT.

GEMS = SEE ABOVE


Bird nests = fall out of trees onto the ground, not appear magically in your invent because you are watching youtube and want them too. GET OVER IT.


Woodcutting = YOUR FAULT FOR NOT BEING ATTENTIVE
