1. Can I play against a friend?

Hold the Line supports multiplayer games on the same machine. Choose a two-player race or Demolition from the Main Menu, then use the following keys:

• Red car: UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT and ENTER
• Green car: Q, A, X, C and CTRL

2. Can I fail to complete a championship?

If you finish a championship race in third place or worse, you must retry it. This moves your vehicle one place up the starting grid and begins the race again. You may only retry up to three times per championship (e.g. if you retry the first course twice you may only retry one other course once). If you run out of retry attempts, you are disqualified from the championship and must start again from the first race.

3. How can I keep my vehicle under control?

Slow down! All vehicles handle better at lower speeds. Also, blue power-ups, in addition to providing shields, improve vehicle handling slightly. It's often wise to collect blue power-ups to complement any green ones you already have - this provides better handling at higher speeds. Finally, if a vehicle is proving too difficult to control, try using an alternative. The touring car, dune buggy, snowcat and SUV have better grip than the other vehicles.

4. What are the minimum specifications for this game?
