This post is for all the people who want to know when the next double experience weekend is, or the people who just want my opinion.

To my knowledge, Jagex does not have a date planned for the next Double Exp Weekend. But, why would they tell us, so we can stock up on everything and make mad amounts of levels in 2 days? I believe since they told us last time and many people bought supplies and complained they didn't get their level goal, or anything else, that they wont tell us when its coming.

I think when the Double Exp weekend happens, they'll tell us the day it starts. If they do this, nobody can stock up, and get mass amounts of levels.

I've been playing RuneScape for quite a few years, and if theres anything I know about the game, it's that Jagex is very sneaky. They like to catch you by surprise. And since the last Double Exp Weekend was such a success, they are bound to do another one.

These are my thoughts based on my Experience and knowledge.

The sole purpose of these events is for Jagex to profit. They will announce future events before they happen. Mod Fnord even said this in another thread.

"Can I also say one thing: The idea that we do these events without giving warning isn't really tenable. When we do these events we want as many people as possible to know about them, and to have the chance to use them. That means lots of publicity beforehand so people can plan their time, or plan to get into the event."

It may be one of the purposes, but i highly doubt it's the sole purpose. Many times i've seen Jagex put the game before themselves. Where making the game better for us was better than making money for them.

So although it may make them money, thats not the only reason they do the Double Exp Weekend.

I think you mean "Put themselves before the game."

No, that would mean they want money instead of making the game better, whereas that's not what they want.
The money is just nice, and creates things to make the game better, to get more money.

Its a never ending cycle.

NO 2X WEEKEND.. PLZ JAMFLEX.. DONT RUIN THE GAME EVEN MORE
