Hello there!

The Clan Leader forum is a place for leaders of experienced clans to have direct contact with the J-Mods responsible for Clan Support within RuneScape. The reason for the 'secrecy' and this forum to be hidden is so that the leaders can talk to us openly and honestly so as to attain the honest feedback that they provide.

To ensure that we get the clans that are experienced and active, we ask that if you want to be a part of the Clan Leader forum to apply below. It's very simple and won't require any more then about 5 minutes to do. There is a template below to fill out and post back to this thread, there is also a brief but detailed FAQ on this. Note: I would like to point out that applying doesn't automatically mean that you will be accepted.

How the process works:

Collect all of the information about your clan to fill in the template, it's essential that each section is filled out with all of the correct information to your knowledge. Once you've posted your application then it falls into the hands of the J-Mods.

At the end of each week, the J-Mod responsible for processing applications will gather all of them up and start to go through them. There are no set 'guidelines' to accepting, or declining, an application - all of the information will be reviewed. Once a decision has been made, a message will be sent to a number of people depending on what has happened:

• Your clan has been successful, a message will be sent to the two leaders who have been accepted. They will also be able to see the Clan Leaders forum and post.
  
• Your clan has been denied, an inbox message will be sent to the player who posted the application. This may not necessarily be one of the leaders but it is their responsibility to inform their leaders and clan.
  
• There is some more information we need from your clan to process your application. This usually happens when we cannot find any information about your clan, your application wasn't filled out properly or you have listed more then two representatives to enter the forum. A message will be sent to whoever posted the applications, asking for the information that we need.

The message sent to your inbox should explain clearly why you've been denied and where you can go from there. Also, if we need more information and you send a response, this should also be done as soon as possible.

Do not worry about posting another player's name here on this thread. We know that naming other player's might not be something you're used to but we do need the memberlist to process the application.

FAQ

• I've just created a clan/I've just reborn a clan, should I post an application?
  
  We're looking for experienced and healthy clans to take part in the Clan Leaders forum. As such, new clans will always be denied - post an application once you have a few months behind you.
  
  
• How many leaders are we allowed to have from our clan?
  
  We accept two representatives from each clan that gets accepted. This gives a fair representation from each clan in the forum.
  
  
• If I am part of Player Owned City or other organisation can I still apply?
  
  You are more than welcome to apply and we will look at each application on it's own merits. The Clan Leaders forum isn't just for 'PK'ing clans', we accept all types of clans because the Clan Community is so large and diverse.
  
  
• I usually reside in a forum that isn't the Clan forums, can I still apply to join?
  
  There are a number of 'clans' such as Distractions and Diversion groups, general chat channels and the like that don't fall within the remit of a clan. These are great community initiatives that should be supported in other ways.

This sticky has had a revamp and I'll be looking in to changing the inbox messages that I send out to people in response to their applications. You obviously won't see this behind the scenes work unless you apply but rest assured that it is going ahead.
