Jagex has confimred they are developing a Dragon defender. If you go to the Jagex youtube channel and look at the comments you should see this (Is most likely several pages back now):

"ReZoRtiViTaL - The Dragon Defender is being worked on but we're waiting for the right time and the right way to put it into the game.

Mod Ajd"

I wonder how this could be implemented into the game, an update to the warriors guild? A quest reward? and also what stats might it entail and when could it be released?

WOW! I've been waiting for this for a looooong time! I hope it gets released soon!

I wonder if it will be a boss drop or we get it through the Warriors Guild or maybe even a quest? (But the Quest is doubtful)

P.S. What's with all these hidden threads?

im sure it will be given in warriors guild... mainly because for rest of defenders you need the last one to get the next one. therefor you should need rune defender to get dragon defender.

Before releasing Dungeoneering, they said it will take part in Lands to the East.
There are two people we know that are from the Lands to the East, a man wielding a katana in Port Phasmatys and the Attack Skillcape NPC in the Warrior's Guild.
All Defenders are from the Warrior's Guild.

Hmmm, what to think. I think this adds up to Lands to the East.

I am not forgetting when they mentioned Lands to the East and we need to know somethinge else about it, no matter how little the information, its like they are forgetting it.

i also believe the dragon defender will be released on a new monster floor of the warrior guild.

We will get it similar like how we got the rest of them, except we have to fight greater demons or something like that.

the attack cape girl never said that she is from the eastern lands, she mentioned getting the cyclop's from the east and that they may be holding unique items from there. which could meen that it would be unlocked from the eastern lands in the future though

Actually, the Attack Skillcape holder is a guy: Ajjat, who was a former black knight.

The two Eastern people are Ak-Haranu in Port Phasmatys and Shanomi (sp?) who controls the animated armour in the Warriors Guild.

If you examine Shanomi, it says: 'A warrior-mage from the east.'
