Cooking - Drinks

Introduction

Alongside food comes drink. There are many different drinks within RuneScape, some can be dangerous to your health, others will simply alter your statistics temporarily.

Some drinks will raise levels while at the same time lower others, so plan your refreshments well and use the drinks to your advantage.

When drinking any drink such as the unfinished cocktails, the effects that each drink has on your stats will depend on the stat level of the skill that is being affected.

Wine - Non-members

Wine is made by filling a jug with water from a water source. Then using some grapes (from either the Cooking Guild west of Varrock, or from a table in the Phoenix Gang's hideout) with the jug of water. You will then have unfermented wine. Leave the jug of unfermented wine in your inventory or your bank until you have a jug of wine.

Making wine is not always successful. Sometimes you may find that your wine hasn't matured properly and you get bad wine. Half jugs of wine are not now available in RuneScape, however anyone lucky enough to still have one can use it to heal 70 life points.

Chocolate Milk - Members Only

To make chocolate milk, use an empty bucket with a dairy cow to get a bucket of milk. Then take a chocolate bar and use it with a pestle and mortar (or a knife) to get some chocolate dust. Alternatively, you can go to the Grand Tree grocery store and buy some chocolate dust. Use the chocolate dust with the bucket of milk to make chocolate milk.

Nettle Tea - Members Only

To make nettle tea, fill a bowl with water. Next, get some nettles; these may be obtained from a patch of nettles north-east of the Slayer Master in Canifis. Then add the nettles to the bowl of water. Use the nettle-water with a Cooking range or a fire. You now have a bowl of nettle tea. If you want to drink your tea from a cup, use the bowl of nettle tea with a cup. If you take milk, use a bucket of milk with it.
