Hi, Ozfer is in the house and ready for some serious flaming directed at me. I just would like to say a few things regarding the boots update.

1. Who the heck cares if some people got some more pixel money? ITS PIXELS!!! Of course, I enjoy having money, but I don't cry about it if someone hits the runescape jackpot from a recent update.

2.THE REASON- I'm not much of a pker, but I actually agree with the price change. From what I can see, pures were getting an easy, cheap strength bonus. So, Jagex raised the price to make it more fair. Maybe they could have changed the stats required to wear the boots, but then you would rant about that. Although, one solution would be raising the price ceiling, although that may not solve the problem completely regarding easy bonuses.

3.If you even THINK about calling me WBM, you will be burned by my very glare. I have an opinion too!

I understand that you have an opinion, however I dissagree with it. Climbing boots might have given pures easy strength bonus, but look at its defensive stats. It is next to nothing. I dont see how 2 strenth bonus should be worth 75k. If JaGeX simply removed or increased the price cap to the boots, then we wouldnt have a problem with this. The price of the boots would increase with the supply and demand accordingly. JaGeX didn't think when implimenting this update, and THAT is why we are angered.

PS: I made well over a mil from this update, and I still wish for it to me removed.

a little feedback:
1. why in the name of all of guthix should a select few get the privilege to get easy hard cash? This update broke the trust and respect a lot of players had. We don't want jagex doing updates like this in the future.

2. I don't see why somebody would use c. boots since most metal boots have equal to or better stats.

3. we only called people a wbm were the ones that were kissing up to and defending every point that was against jagex.

Thanks for your opinion guys. I just read another thread and found another solution... raising the price ceiling and letting it go naturally. Oh well, I'm a noob. But even so, I stand by my words. (With a little editing )

why not just give everyone the bad version of the boots so noone would gain millions though?

They could have just made them untradeable and work in the same mannor as Ava's.

Is Ava's going to increase to 100k now? That has a good bonus and auto picks up arrows.

Jagex failed on this update and I don't even play ingame anymore.

Yep, was just jealousy. I think.

Nearly forgotten now. The same old names will soon have new updates to post about.
