Anyone else see the contradiction here?

"What we wanted to achieve is that players who use these boots for their bonuses, in particular on PvP and Bounty worlds, are risking an appropriate amount of GP that has a resemblance of the bonuses that they get from them"

"The aim of this change was not to re-value items based on their stats"

Is Jagex going to admit they messed up or are they just going to give us this contradictory bs?

I thought the exact same thing, lol. :|

EDIT - What they should have done is swapped the old version of climbing boots with the 'quest' version, which cost the exact same amount, or just given them their GP back.

Also, I've seen another idea on a different thread. This was to give them the same worth of boots back, so for example; If one boot before was 1k (I know it wasn't, just an example), then Jagex could have taken 75 boots away, and given the player 1 of the new ones in place of those 75.

People rarely like to admit that they messed up. This is a good example.

What JagEX can't do:
-Research (75k each? LOL)
-Maths (Mod Em:"A price of 75k, gives a high alch price of 45k.. And Dragon boots of 500k get an alch price of 12k, right...)
-Answer a FAQ correctly

Wow. Kudo's Zarfot for finding that one, haven't seen it before.

What they should of done in the first place was to make these new Climbing boots untradable and only obtained from the guy who sells them.
