Well some guy Pmed me in varrock, and told me to meet in varrock center, took me to the top floor of the general store so no one watched us, he told me no one should know about this and gave me a link to some weird page I didn't even bother enter, it has like some jfkdjkfjsdk. etc leters, so I came up to the conclusion that he was going to do something bad to me probably, or just make use of me.

He told be it was a site for mod applications, and that I must apply and vote for some guy named 'mod jay', and that I'd become a mod too, that they choose someone out of 100 people every 3 months, I don't know if it is related to jagex, I don't think so and as far as I know only Jagex can choose moderators.

If a Jag Mod or W/E wants to contact me through message or mail or PM its always welcome and I shall provide the name, because I reported but the cause was confusing so I just reported for advertising.

Edit: Well inbox only becuase I forgot Jagex will only contact you via inbox.

Jagex will NEVER contact you through any other source except for your in-game mailbox.

Lol, that's how people get scammed. They'll only contact you through the messages from jagex inbox thing on your account management.

Since you reported them Jagex will take care of the rest, no need to further dwell on it

Ok I hope they do so I really just went with the flow I kept saying 'yea' 'yea' 'ok'.

Basically, don't visit any websites that people advertise in game, just report them If you think it looks suspicious, it most probably is.
