Have you ever fancied yourself as a sports reporter? Are you more inquisitive than Lois Lane? Have you more creativity than Van Gogh with both his ears? In that case, we might have something that's right up your street.

Every month we will be releasing a player driven newsletter. Nope, this doesn't mean that it comes with four wheels and a gear stick, but rather we want you to make the content of the newsletter and we will compile it. This is a really good opportunity to use your creativity and get your thoughts across to the whole community.

Ok, so what are we looking for?

Well, for the first issue, we will be thinking about beginnings. So, stories about how you first found RuneScape, reviews of some of the early quests or how you first died would be great.

The sort of areas that we are looking to cover include:
  • Interviews of players
  • Creative submissions (for poems/stories etc)
  • Quest reviews
  • Event reviews
  • Other reviews
  • Editorials (for if you just want to comment on something)
  • Sports reviews (obviously of RuneScape sports like Gnomeball Leagues or wrestling)
  • Journalism (for proper RuneScape relate journalistic pieces)

On top of that, we will also be including information on upcoming events, competitions, quizes and so on.

As you probably noticed, I said that the content will mainly be written by players. So, the next question is how do you get the articles you write to us. Well, simply E-Mail any article to postbag@jagex.com.

The only thing to make sure you do is to put the word "newsletter" and the sort of article it is (quest review/event review/editorial/etc) in the title of the E-Mail so we can sort it more easily.

So, if you fancy getting your name in the newsletter, get writing! We don't mind whether you are members or not, we can't wait to see what you send us!

Mat.

Can we post our stories here, or should we send them to the address you supplied?

Otherwise, it sounds pretty neat. I'll work on a story when I have some free time. :)

I am -so- doing an editorial.

Is it okay if it's criticizing Jagex? Like, saying that something should be made better then it is now?

You need to send them to the E-Mail mate. It makes it much easier if everything is in the same place.

You are best off asking questions here if it's about this Grants. If it's about something else, then the appropriate forum will be the best place.

In the end, I am expecting a huge amount of submissions, so it will be easy for questions to get missed.

You can certainly request to stay anonymous Dsc.

Thanks much Mat, I'll certainly look into sending something in the future if I can.
