Hi there. Here are a few general guidelines for using the Off Topic Forum. :)

What is the Off Topic Forum for?

The Off Topic Forum is for general discussion about any subject, which isn't related to RuneScape. Quite why we have a section like this on the RuneScape forums is still a mystery! :)

Anyway, if you want to discuss time-travel, underwater plants or the merits of having a good skin cleaning routine, then you should use the Off Topic Forum.

• Can I discuss Chuck Norris in the Off Topic Forum?

  Of course, although we have already heard all the jokes.

• Can I create threads asking for a boyfriend or girlfriend?

  To be honest, it�s not the best way to go about things. You can never tell who you are talking to on 'teh internetz', so let's just avoid this subject all together.

• I want to let people know about my religion or my political preferences, can I make a thread to rustle up some support for my cause?

  We�re not trying to be mean, but we really don't think a gamers forum is the best place for this. Someone is bound to oppose your views and that creates conflict. And if there's going to be conflict between our players, we'd prefer it to be in a PvP world. ;)

• I also play another game, can I tell everyone about it, because I think they might like it as well?

  We don't mind you talking about other games which are not in competition with Jagex, but please don't talk about other MMO's - we prefer not to provide free advertising for our competitors!
