ASSIST CLAN

Assist clan. This is what you will type in to enter the clan chat channel.
Apologies if that was a little condescending but you would be surprised at how many people do not know how to enter a clan chat.

IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THE SKILLS REQUIRED TO ASSIST SOMEONE THEN PLEASE LOG INTO "ASSIST CLAN" AND HELP AS THERE IS A GREAT DEMAND FOR ALL SKILLS BUT ESPECIALLY FOR RUNECRAFT, CONSTRUCTION, FARMING, SMITHING AND HERBLORE.

PLZ GIVE YOUR ASSIST FREELY AS WE THINK THE EXP YOU GAIN IS MORE THAN ENOUGH PAYMENT.

IF YOU WANT TO CHARGE FOR YOUR ASSIST THEN THIS ISN'T THE CLAN FOR YOU. SO PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME BY ASKING FOR PAYMENT AS BEING KICKED FROM CLAN CHAT OFTEN OFFENDS.

We are hoping that this will become a permanent clan where players can get assistance free of charge.

Ranks will be available to those players who are willing to offer free assist on a regular basis or who show a willingness to be helpful to others eg, after maxing out or getting assist stay to point ppl the right way for what they need.

This is a clan for assistance on the new Ancient Effigy Distraction and Diversion.

For example:-

Player 1 needs 97 con assist but can offer 95 herb assist.

Player 2 needs 95 herb assist though doesn't have the lvls to offer any assist for this D&D though might be happy to stick around in cc to assist others for his lower skills.

Player 3 needs free exp so offers 97 con assist

As you can see everyone gets what they came for.

And if that wasn't plain enough then hop into "assist clan" cc and we will be happy to explain it there.

SKILLS THAT ANCIENT EFFIGY REQUIRE:

Agility or Crafting
Construction or Thieving
Cooking or Firemaking
Fishing or Farming
Fletching or Woodcutting
Herblore or Hunter
Mining or Smithing
Runecrafting or Summoning

Some skills you cannot get assit for so here are the skills which we can assist on,
Crafting,
Construction,
Cooking,
Farming,
Fletching,
Herblore,
Smithing,
Runecrafting.

As you can see the Ancient Effigies always have an option for a player to get assist if they are unable to "feed the knowledge" themselves.

Starved ancient effigies require a skill level of at least 91 to investigate. Awards 15,000XP.

Nourished ancient effigies require a skill level of at least 93 to investigate. Awards 20,000Xp.

Sated ancient effigies require a skill level of at least 95 to investigate. Awards 25,000XP.

Gorged ancient effigies require a skill level of at least 97 to investigate. Awards 30,000XP.

After feeding the Gorged effigy it will turn to dust and you will be left with an exp lamp to use on any skill you choose. The formula for the Dragonkin lamp exp is lvl^3/20.2 or in English lvl to the power of 3 divided by 20.2

I can now confirm that you can assist beyond your 30k daily limit without gaining the extra exp.

What I did was, I assisted for a lvl 95 smith and then for a lvl 97 craft, though I had only 5k left on my limit I was still able to assist the craft but only received 5k exp.
So it will be beneficial if clan members with 97 Herb, Con or RC can assist a lower lvl first such as lvl 91-95 and then assist lvl 97 and still get the 30k limit.

The reason I single out these skills is I have found that they seem to be the ones that players are finding it hard to find at a higher lvl.

As it stands you can only gain 30K exp from the assist system in a day. You can find out how long you have remaining by asking someone to req assist from you and then it will say at the bottom of the screen the time left till you can

SKILL BOOSTS

For those who don't have stats but are close the following boosters can be used(stews can also be used to give +1-+6 but are rather consuming to make and luck dependant):


1)Crafting-Crafting potion +3

2)Construction-teas in house depending on level of shelves, cup +1, Porcelain cup +2 and Gilded Porcelain cup +3

3)Cooking-Chefs delight +4/5 (depending on your level), Mature Chefs delight +5/6 (depending on your level)

4)Farming-Stranger plant +1 (+4% of your level), Garden Pie +3

5)Fletching-Fletching potion +3

6)Smithing- Dwarven stout +1, Mature Dwarven stout +2

7)Herblore- Greenmans Ale +1, Mature Greenmans Ale +2

Stews are:

Orange for Construction, Cooking, Crafting, Firemaking, Fletching, Runecrafting, and Smithing.

Yellow for Agility, Prayer, Slayer, Thieving, and Hunter.

Brown for Farming, Fishing, Herblore, Mining, and Woodcutting.

RULES

All the usual rs rules apply to this forum and the cc as well as the 1s listed here.

For players that have been added to ignore you might find that after a few days/weeks depending on what rule was broken the ban may be lifted. A repeat offence will result in a permanant ban.

IF IT ISN'T A LETTER OR A NUMBER THEN WE CLASS IT AS A SYMBOL NO ARGUMENTS ON THIS PLZ.

1, We DO NOT CHARGE for assist as the exp we get in return is payment enough. Anyone seen asking/offering wil be asked only once not to do so again. If seen to be asking again they will be booted from cc.

2, NO SPAMMING or SHOUTING in cc please, this includes qc and using more than 1 line to ask for an assist, a warning will be given and you will have the one warning only, if you persist you will be evicted from the clan chat channel.

2a, DO NOT use spaces to get your req seen in the middle of the chat box this is considers spam also and we do not allow it.

2b, Do not add your name to the end of your req/offer we are not stupid we can see who is saying it.

2c, If you are suspected of using an autotyper you will be kicked.

3, Please DO NOT ARGUE with the ranks. This will not be tolerated and you will only be asked once to stop. If you do not you will be booted.

4, Plz DO NOT use symbols either side of ur chat to get the clan attention this is for ranks only.

If a player does this then the cc might think they are a rank and we don't want that to happen.

5, RESPECT others and their views even if you do not agree with them. It is unfair to other players if an argument goes on while players are trying to get assist. This will not be tolerated and you will be kicked without notice if you are seen arguing and putting other players down.

6, LOBBY SITTERS, F2P and any1 in PVP/BH will be kicked from cc no warning.

7, Adding another player for assist is quite alright as long as this is only being done between 2 players that have already arranged an assist. I do not think it is fair however to say things like "need 95 craft assist pm me" or "offering 93 rc pm me."

8, DO NOT STEAL OR TRY TO STEAL AN ASSIST MEANT FOR ANOTHER. This will result in a perm ban.

9, PLZ COMPLETE 1 EFFIGY AT A TIME. This will save confusing the assisters as to what you require. Plus make it fair on all players waiting for assist. If any player is seen to be asking for more than 1 assist at a time
E.G. "Need 93-97 con assist" or maybe "Lf 2 95 herb assists" they will be asked to complete 1 effigy at a time. If they refuse or argue this is an unfair rule because they have more than 1 they need assist with, they will be booted from cc.

9a, DO NOT SWAP BETWEEN EFFIGIES if you have more than 1 you will be seen and you will be banned.

9b, Please DO NOT log from 1 acc onto another to get an assist you have seen 1 for your other acc. This is not fair play and you will be banned. Also if you you are seen to be trying for an assit for an already banned player you will be banned.

10, DO NOT GO INTO ANOTHER CC AND ADVERTISE THIS CC. No arguments, you will be booted and ignored from the clan. We can get enough business without POACHING from other clans. DO NOT advertise another cc even your own in this cc. you will b banned.

11. Plz leave the cc once you have got your assists or have done your assisting as we get very busy and ppl find it hard to enter to get there own effigies assisted or do their assists.

The STRIPE is only to allow the assisters to get into cc when the cc is full. However as always, respect others as you would like to be respected.

Not every1 on this list has a 99 so don't think that because you do not have a 99 you can't help, you can! Anyone with a skill is welcome to assist any1 else.

Rules Condensed Version

Thankz to Dirty Milan for these.

1. We don't allow anyone to ask cash or items for their assistance. The experience is a payment which is more than enough. Do not offer cash or items either to get you an assist this is bribeary and and will not get you your assist any quicker.

2. No Spamming/Flooding the cc and plz do not use Quick Chat. You will get a warning if you spam/flood or Quick Chat, if you comtinue you will be booted from the chat.

3. Do not argue with our Ranked-Members, these ranks are in use to keep an eye on the Chat. They know the rules and will not be swayed by an argument.

4. Do not use symbols like ~/-/=, these symbols are used by the ranks to get the attention of Clanchat. If you use these, you could be seen as a rank and we don't want that to happen.

5. Respect everyone in the Clanchat.

6. We do not send people to BH/PVP worlds. We see this as luring and you will probably get an instant ban from the Chat. PVP/BH worlds are: 17, 18, 21, 26, 32, 57, 65, 72, 86, 124, 136, 137.

7. Do not ask anyone to PM you for an assistance. (You can break the Rules like luring (See rule 6 above.)It is ok to pm someone you have agreed to assist or be assised by them so you can find them easier.

8. Do not steal eachothers assisters. Someone can be waiting so long for his/her wanted level and it would be unfair if you steal it. You will be banned from the clanchat.

9. Do 1 Ancient Effigy at the time. It would be unfair if you make a list with a lot of wanted skills and levels and other people are trying to get a level too. Just finish your first Effigy before you start another.

10. Do not advertise our Clanchat in any Clanchat. Do not advertise another clanchat in Assist Clan clanchat either.

GUIDELINES FOR RANKS

1. DO NOT kick someone because they do not want to assist. I do not want assisters thinking that they have got to assist someone no matter what. If I do not like the attitude of someone then I will not assist them. I don't expect anyone else to either. If I dont want to train a certain skill why should I? As you know I'm training herb at the moment and will not assist in something else. I do not expect others to either.

This is a multiplayer game and I'll not tell people what they should train in cc just because it might help a few players out. So I repeat. DO NOT KICK for not wanting to assist.

2. Be polite when asking players to stick to the rules. We all know that some players can be abusive when told they need to read the rules and such. If anyone is abusive to you then politely say goodbye and boot them. You can make a note of names and what happend to either tell myself or Manic if you wish. This isn't always necessary as most people learn the first time they are kicked but not all.

3. If you need time out, then take it. We are no good to eachother or the cc if our nerves are frazzled or we are tired.

4. If you have an issue with any of the ranks then plz let either myself or Manic know and we will try and come to some agreement if you cannot do it between you. We cannot have ranks fighting afterall.

I deranked 2 players at the beginning of this cc for arguing I dont want to have to do it again as you are all valuable members of our team.

If any of you can think of any more guidelines to add let me know and I can update as and when needed. One thing I have learned by doing this cc is that you cannot think of all the rules in one day. OH you think you have only to have someome come along and find a loop-hole lol.
