Is it not at all effectively possible to use a unicorn stallion as an anti-poison as a Dagannoth Kings hybrid? I'm thinking of starting, but as there are few up-to-date guides, just wanted to get a clear idea.

Not really. The unicorn doesn't give any protection from poison; you can be poisoned again immediately after using it.

Use antipoison(++).

Thats like 48 minutes of protection from poison per slot.

And is Balmung really worth bringing along with an SGS?

I've never used Balmung, mainly because a whip or other weapon works plenty good as is on Supreme. I can almost always down supreme prior to prime respawning unless rex isn't pulled fast enough or I just get very unlucky hits.

I know Balmung is better than a whip on normal dagannoths, but I'm not sure about DKs. Might be something to look into. (:

Well when I pot/pray I know I can hit a good 550 with Balmung if not higher, it's definitely worth using on supreme.

Edit: And my str lvl is only 83 so I'm sure you could hit a lot higher with it.

Take balmung with your sgs. Pot/pray/slayerhelm you can hit 800+ with it. I haven't looked up your stats so it might be slightly lower for you.

A unicorn is not a good way to protect yourself from poison. As somebody else said you can be poisoned again immediately after curing yourself. It gets rather annoying, and drains your summoning 2 points each time (which isn't a problem if you use super restores for prayer)
