Hi,
I'm looking for suggestion on where to place my house and spirit tree and what house portal to have the best transportation system assuming a basic cost of the house tablet and a amulet of glory hanged

I posted on other fan site about this but gathered no significant useful idea

Note that this will not include any item teleport except the house tablet for simplicity sake of not having to factor in bank location. So item such as Ectophial, Ring of Charos, Logs require for Balloon etc should not be included here.

Thus the only systems I can think of that maybe included is:
-Fairy Ring (assuming finished quest)
-Spirit Tree
-Regular Teleport
-Gnome Glider
-Any water transport that does not require inherent use of any items
-Mine Carts
-Miscellaneous teleport: Magic Guild,D wizard tower,Port Sarim Jail, etc
-Might have other I forgot

So basically the idea is having a combination where at a single cost of the house tablet one can reach the most locations with the shortest transfer between different transportation system..

(For those who understand the concept of GIS, this should be interesting to research )

Mathematically there should be (6C1)*(3C1)*(7C6) = 126 different combination.

Maybe some example of what doesn't work nicely:

-House Location: Yanille ; House portal: Yanille and etc...
-Location: Relleka ; Spirit tree: Etceteria ; House portal: Varrock and etc...

Note this is purely for spatial distribution and travelling purposes. I do not intend to focus on specific skill training in this topic.

After some serious self-debate, I have plan of House at Relleka ; Spirit tree at Brimhaven ; and House portal of except Varrock...

My motive is that glory teleport to edgeville and is a short walk to the grand exchange with agility shortcut. Relleka and Brimhaven both are hard to reach but both are choices for Spirit tree and house portal so they were prime candidate for the two system. I chose relleka since a bank was a ride away on etceteria.

Other suggestion are welcomed.

Just a heads up.

With the introduction of the new quest: Love Story, the reward at the end lets you modify house teletabs. By modifying them you can create house tabs to the outside of any of the house portal locations.

Example. 1 for rellaka, 1 for pollivinech, 1 for brimhaven, 1 for rimmington. etc...

they all stack like tablets do too. this way you never have to pay to move your house anymore. you just make a house tablet and modify it using a normal chisel. easy as that. yah, extra teleport locations at the cost of 1 tablet each. this is probably one of the best quest rewards in a long time.

Now the question is...can you do the quest?

Unfortunately those tablet cannot teleport to your house, essentially they just act as a regular teleport tablet, not a house tablet...(Unless I'm mistaken???)

So those tablet is not to be considered here as my assumption here do not take into account bank location. I think that will increase the complexity by a lot so for simplicity and basic situation sake I will only assume I have 1 house teletab at any time and I can choose to travel to the most location using only this tab and any other "free system" (as I listed) that might be in the vicinity (not including bank)

Just to cite an example.

Say I needed to get to brimhaven area, but I have my house portal already set for Yanille.

I just use a chisel, after doing Love Story, and change one of my house tabs into a "Teleport to the outside of Brimhaven Portal" tab. And so I won't have to talk with the real estate agent to change the location of my normal house portals.

I still have my normal house portal tabs, but...now in addition, I have a new deluxe "teleport to the outside of brimhaven portal" tab.

As a result I don't have to move my normal house portal anymore. I just chisel to make other "teleport to the outside of x portal" tabs. I have made tabs for pollivinech for slayer and dustie tasks, I made one for the rellaka portal cuz I really hate to have to use the Magic Lyre for transport. I made a tab for taverly portal, cuz i really hate having to use a games necklace, when the taverly portal is closer.

I do recommend getting that quest done if you can. It will increase the teleport areas for you.

but that require many item or (if you pre-made them) going to the bank... of course in Yanille that's not a big deal...

but the point here is not consider where the bank is...

assume you only have one house teletab, you want to find the combination of house location, house portal, and spirit tree (because these are basic choices that you need to make for this purpose) that maximize the number of locations you can choose to reach for free, starting from your house. By free I mean no extra items when using different transportation system, so such as Balloon, Eagle, Charter, etc... is not available to you. Fariy Ring works because I'm assuming you don't need the staff.
