Ways to do a dungeon

Hi, could anyone explain to me how the dungeon 'ways' work? I have almost never done any duo/multi Dungeoneering, and whenever I solo I am taking my time doing everything.

How does it work in a team? What is rushing? What does 5:3 or 2:1 mean?
Please help someone who'd like to be effective in multiplayer dungeons.

i'm afraid it's rather hard to explain, but there's a thread called the ultimate dungeoneering guide (qfc 150-151-248-60859906) that gives a good explanation.

Hope that helps

How does it work in a team? There are too many ways to do it for a simple answer.

What is rushing? rushing is doing the low numbered floors as quickly as possible, only killing monsters in guardian door rooms, avoiding any you dont need to kill, not entering dead end rooms that dont have a key. etc.
Usually you rush floors 1-25 small do 26-30 medium and 31-35 in a 5 man party large for heaps of exp, but these figures depend a lot on the floors you have available.

What does 5:3 or 2:1 mean? 5:3 means that the floor is for a party of 5 but is designed that the lowest 3 in the party can complete it, 2:1 means it is for a duo, but that one can leave and the other can complete it successfully.

ALso, you probably knew this, but if you didnt, the higher the numbers, the more xp you get, unless it's something like

5:1

You lose massive xp for doing a dungeon made for 1 person with a 5 person group.

However, if you do 5:5, which is the most difficult setting, you get a good xp+%.
