Hello and welcome to my little (OK, it's pretty big :P ) guide on Prestiging in Dungeoneering!

~~~~~ENJOY!~~~~~
CONTENTS:
POST 1: you are here :D, guide
POST 2: continued guide
POST 3: continued guide, what "Prestiging" can do for you
POST 4: TL: DR version, Extra Dungeooneering Tips!!
POST 5: Cool Helpful People
(I am going to add another one of my threads into page 1 soon)
I, Zoomy, have figured out this nearly impossible "Prestige" that everyone is so fussed about!
I will now explain how you can master this art of confusion :)
___________________________|><PRESTIGING><|___________________________
to start with this "prestiging" I recommend you get at least 11 dungeoneering first, because then you'll be able to get some decent PRESTIGE xp
SO, LEVEL 11+, READ ON...
OK, so you've done every floor you can, and you can't seem to get that last 100xp to level 12?
Well, there's a solution!!
PRESTIGING!!
Yes, prestiging is THE best way you will ever achieve MAXIMUM xp within this skill :) (unless you do penguins every week, even then it's only 10k+ xp a week lol :P)
So, get out your wonderful Ring of Kinship, and click: Party Interface (Strangely, it's the left click option :o)
Then, while in this interface which should cover your quest tab, click on the "join party button". You should be in a party on your own now. Try to enter the dungeon
(the hole on the east or west wall in the main Daemonheim Castle ground floor)
Now, a picture of the castle and the floors, going deep into the mountain should show up...
If you look at the picture, there should be table going down with ticks or empty squares.
On the part of the table that says: 1 , look down and you should see the floors that you have currently done.
(It goes across to 5, meaning that 4 other people can be in your party)
Under the 1 (1 represents you), if you see all transparent ticks up the yellow/gold arrow (your floor limit) then... (cont. next post)
(continued from last post)... close the interface, open your party interface again, and leave the party.
Without closing the party interface, press the "reset" button. this will make your current floor total add up *(EDIT)* : (So, say that you had done floors 1,3,7,12,16,21 and 25, your previous progress would become 7, not 25, thus making your prestige become 7.).
From now, you can just start on floor 1 again
(on complexity 1 if you don't mind about xp and just care about prestiging quickly) and just work your way up to your maximum level :)
"Your Dungeoneering level isn't high enough to proceed to the next floor"
Simply, log out (lobby) and log back in to get back into the castle.
Jump down the broken stairs, and get your interface out again. Don't join a party though. Press the reset button.
Now, your previous progress should change into what your current progress just was, and now you can get back into the Demonic Halls and get up that dungeoneering level!
REMEMBER:
When you press reset, always start on floor 1 again, progressing through the floors, until your highest floor is reached again.
After you have filled up your "tick boxes" (all floors done)
, then, simply press reset again. You will pick this up with time, as I did :)
Time to see what Prestiging can do for us!
Yes, prestiging DOES have benefits, and it isn't there just to annoy us. It doesnt allow grinding on the same floor, but it can provide some huge XP if used correctly :)
Some tests I tried...
SOLO:
______
I tried 1 round, on floor 20, with prestige 20
(but I'd already done floor 20 without resetting, so I'd get 0 Prestige xp, therefore halving my xp)
I searched ALL rooms, killed ALL monsters, NO deaths, C6, guide mode OFF, as always
I got: 1,519 XP for this...
I wasn't very happy with this, so I obviously tried it with some prestige, to see if my XP would increase :D
Now, let's try the same floor with Prestige!
(not ticked when I selected floor, but already done floor before, and reset the floors)
I searched ALL rooms, killed ALL monsters, NO deaths, C6, guide mode OFF, as always
I got: 4,560XP!
I was very happy about what the prestige system could do for me :)
Now, you know everything that I know about Prestiging :)
And, hopefully, you will know more than me about Dungeoneering one day :D
A Word Of Warning:
Don't mess with Prestiging or it will mess with your xp...
What I'm trying to say is: Don't do your highest floor, then reset, and do the same floor, then reset, then repeat.
~~~~~~THIS WILL RESULT IN WORSE XP THAN NOT PRESTIGING AT ALL~~~~~

A PROBLEM:

SCENARIO 1:
You have just unlocked a new floor at the end of your highest floor, but you want to unlock it first (requiring the same floor to be done again)...

BUT, if you want maximum XP, PRESS RESET, and wait until your next prestige to try that new floor :)

If you need help, please tell me in the thread and I'll try to add you in RuneScape to answer your questions :)

Please tell me if you see any typos, or stuff that just doesn't fit

Extra Dungeoneering Tips!!
_______________________________________________________________
IMPORTANT:

Don't buy the bonecrusher, since it's a waste of 340,000 exp. :(
At least if you do want the bonecrusher, (or other high priced items for that matter) wait until you are on floors 30+ with a PRESTIGE of 30+ you'll be grabbing 5k exp and 500 tokens per floor.

(supplied by Valandil1588 :D)

Rammernaut and Brutes start to appear on floors 18+.

Warrior with a chainmail are weak against stab.

Warrior with a platebody are weak against crush.

All monsters in the cave have a weakness. Stab, Slash, or Crush. So spear is your best weapon of choice unless you have 80 attk, 99 str. Then primal maul is your best bet.

Earth guys are weak against crush.

Zombies are weak to slash, skeletons are weak to crush.

Rats aren't weak against anything(imo)

Mages are all slash, I believe. Hit 2x more with slash rather then crush/stab.

Most bosses are weak against stab.

Zombies (level 110+), bats (level 110+) guard dogs and (level 110+) are VERY strong against crush.

Pick up ALL of the coins you can!! This VERY useful resource is scarce (though it might not seem to be) in Daemonheim, and it can really get you out of some sticky situations!!
-The chaotic weapons DO NOT have special attacks(many ppl have asked that)

-You HAVE to recharge all rewards except scrolls/bags and sights (I've heard chaotic shields last 15hrs of combat)

-The "abandoned" floors are a good place to use melee armor

-Astea Frostweb and Ms.Runewright are pray nubs

-Dragon's in the dungeons are rare but a reference to D&D

-If your in a group and do not have the level for the next floor, you'll be booted from the group and placed in your own

-Any NPC with promethiun armor is a major def noob

-Optional doors(above your levels) DO count against you

Please add more to this section by posting :D

F2P get ALOT less prestige xp!

TOO LONG, DIDN'T READ VERSION

Do every floor you can before you reset, whether on complexity 1 or 6, with a group or solo, or after you reset you'll get less experience.

Guide to how your prestige is counted:

Say, that you finished floor 1 and stupidly pressed reset on your ring...
well, you're prestige would be 1, and you would get bonus xp the next time you do ANY floor, you will recieve bonus xp for having completed a variety in floors.
(but since your prestige is only 1, you won't recieve much bonus xp)

Yeah, i thought I had it all figured out at 14 prestige then reset at level 9 thinking I would keep level 14 prestige. So I am back at 9. :(

Yeah, my current prestige is 25, when my highest floor is 27, but if I press reset now, I'll get xp for having prestige, uhh, 5 I think it is, since I've only done 5 floors since last "prestige"
