Hi there. Here�s a few general guidelines for using the General Forum. :)

The General Forum is for general discussion which doesn�t fit neatly into other forums. So it�s an appropriate name for a forum. :) If you want to discuss famous real-life military Generals then you should use the Off Topic Forum.

• Can I discuss Chuck Norris in the General Forum?

  If topics are unrelated to RuneScape then you should discuss them in the Off Topic Forum.

• Can I create threads asking when you�ll add gun-toting horses to RuneScape?

  To be honest, it�s not really worth creating threads asking when we�ll release updates. We�ll always let players know in the Recent News section prior to adding cool content and we can�t reveal anything before then, as we don�t want to ruin the surprise.

• I�ve been hax0red! Can I ask for my account back in the General Forum?

  We�re not trying to be mean but we really can�t discuss your account on the RuneScape Forums. An account�s status is a private matter between the account owner and Jagex. We�re just trying to protect your account�s security. The links in the �Help� and the �Account� sections of the RuneScape website will help you to solve your account-related problems.

• I�m after a luring partner to help me own another player who called me a noob. Can I ask for a partner in the General Forum?

  Luring isn�t really in the spirit of the game and we�d appreciate it if you didn�t create a luring thread anywhere in the forums. Instead, just train your skills until you can own him yourself. You can find some useful tips in the Guides Forum.

• I�m a RuneScapian genius! Can I create a thread where I�d answer every question from players?

  Instead of answering every question, why don�t you focus on a specific area for your thread? This�ll give other players a chance to create threads to offer their advice.

• I�ve thought of a great game! Should I post it in the General Forum?
  The Forum Games Forum is the most suitable place for games.
