Consider letting pieces pile up before sending a whole bunch of solid shapes to the next player. Try to make unconventional solid shapes that will confuse and frustrate your opponent. Keep an eye on the other players and plan your moves accordingly.

The name Deko Bloko is derived from the Japanese word 'dekoboko', meaning 'uneven' or 'rough', and the blocks that fall down in the game.
