Description

Deko Bloko is a shape-matching game with a twist: every shape that you pop is cooked into a solid block and sent to your opponent! You'll be seeing plenty of weird shapes in multiplayer games and you'll have to work fast to get rid of them and send them on to someone else. This manic multiplayer game is made even more so when you have 8 players all together, fighting for first place, especially when you add power-ups into the mix as well!

There are also two single-player modes for getting on the Highscores - Stamina and Master Challenge - plus lots of colourful themes to unlock for all game modes.

FAQs

1. What is shape feedback?

Shape feedback is to what extent the pieces you pop become solid. On shape feedback level 1, only the loose pieces you pop are sent to your opponent. On shape feedback level 2, the pieces you pop and any solid shapes they take with them are combined into one solid shape and sent on. On shape feedback level 3, even special items will send everything they destroy crashing towards your opponents.

2. How do I get more points in single-player?

You’ll need to be sneaky and pile up pieces to detonate at the same time or in chains. You could also pile up shapes and pop them all with a special item. Try to work out strategies for each theme of the Master Challenge and you’ll soon be getting big points.

3. Why am I not receiving special items?

There are a number of reasons why you might not be receiving special items. You need to destroy two or more shapes at the same time to receive a special item. You don't start receiving special items in the Stamina and Master Challenge Modes until you've cleared a few themes - the game will inform you when you will be able to. In multiplayer, you need to be a member and enable special items on the game setup screen.

4. How can I win in multiplayer?

Consider letting pieces pile up before sending a whole bunch of solid shapes to the next player. Try to make unconventional solid shapes that will confuse and frustrate your opponent. Keep an eye on the other players and plan your moves accordingly.

5. What does Deko Bloko mean?

The name Deko Bloko is derived from the Japanese word 'dekoboko', meaning 'uneven' or 'rough', and the blocks that fall down in the game. Uneven is certainly an appropriate description for some of the solid shapes you'll see while playing. 'Dekoboko' is typically written phonetically in Japanese, but can also be written like this: dekoboko.
