Wilerness Clue lvl 3 Help

The title says it, I have a coordinate lvl 3 clue in the wilderness. Now I am not worried about the zamorak mage, however its just a matter of getting to the lesser demon cage.
I am overly cautious when it comes to lvl 3 clues, and brought the sextant, watch, chart, spade, clue, and a whip. So I could easily drop 2 items to save my clue. Turns out twice I have run into Revs either on my way there, or at the spot. What is the best way to complete this clue? and from where should I start my sprint to the spot. Wilderness Volcano, a teleport spot, or the ardougne lever? or somewhere else? I would appreciate any and all help |

I go about these a different way i know i WILL run into revs as i seem to be some sort of rev magnet so i go ready for battle
Walk up there dont run save that for the return trip you can run through ruins and dead trees to get away as the revs get stuck or take a friend lure it a few squares to the side into a multicombat area and pile it |
