Alright, going to make it short but sweet.
From my point of view, F-Mods seem to be very restricted as of late. In regards to Rants, it really seems that at any given time F-Mods are either allowed or not allowed to action freely. Is it time that the Green Crown be replaced with pom-poms? Only time will tell. All I know is that in years of Foruming I have -watched- Mods go from stern guardians of the forums to leniant party-planners. The most recent change: Privatization of Forum Help/Emergencies. I believe this further restricts F-Mods from modding in a way that they might want to. I myself have seen many posts on Forum Help/Emergencies sit there for 20 or 30 minutes, why not allow the F-Mod team to help when short-staffed? "Emergency" usually implies urgency. Even J-Mods have meal/bathroom breaks, what happens when there are no J-Mods watching the thread? Does the urgent post have to sit there for 10 mins while post on forum help are actioned ahead of it by F-Mods? Please Jagex allow, even encourage F-Mods to go above and beyond the norm. ****This thread was moved from Rants to General by Louiellen, was NOT posted here**** |

Either remove them completely, or tell them to moderate more strictly. |

If you encounter Forum Mods locking/hiding threads, this is because we are trying to clean-up the mess.
We do love to post normally, that is our main reason for spending time at the forums anyway. It just that it is tough to accept a subforum, full of rulebreaking threads - and just ignoring it is near impossible for us... Hence we take action. I'll treat this thread as a genuine concern for the forums, hence I've moved it to General so we can have a chit-chat regarding it. The Rants forum is strictly for ranting about Runescape features only. |

i didnt even know u kicked it in the forum still rlly  ) ne way... as far as rants go, its FSR is so FK'ed to nicely describe it, the mods are as clusterFK'd about it as we rlly its all out a problem w/ little solution that doesnt require major change its just a symptom of the over all root problem no community... |

With respect Lou I'd like to remind you that in Rants you can Rant about either the Game, or the Website, or even (as I have in the past) About a Moderating team in general. Never singling out a mod, of course.
