Gielinor�s Fourth of July Summer Party 
It's that time of year! The weather's getting hotter which means that raw on the inside and burned on the outside meat based treats are back in fashion, nom nom nom. It's also the time of year for sitting in traffic for hours on end tin a bid to get to the seaside.
Great though that sounds, some people aren't too excited by the prospect of possible food poisoning and road rage. So, on Sunday evening, come to where there are no cars and however bad your cooking level, you'll eventually get a perfectly BBQ'd fish. You can then move on to a number of events that snowball fights aside, should be rage free! Yes, it's the 4th July Summer Party!
We'll kick off at 9pm and go on to 3am BST, on World 41! Remember, that's British Summer time!
This may be an event to celebrate the holiday weekend in the states, but as ever, everyone is welcome.

9pm BST - MudSkipper Point Conga and BBQs! No, this isn't snakes on beach but is actually a pleasant walk from Lumbridge to Mudskipper point! Gather up anyone you can find along the way and arrive to MudSkipper point just in time for a sardine or two. If you're running a tight schedule, feel free to meet us there.
At Mudskipper point the festivities will begin! You can show off your firemaking and cooking by hosting your own barbecues! You can even test your running skills in a mad race from Mudskipper and back again!
9.15pm BST - Scavenger Hunt! We'll be running a scavenger hunt challenge at Mudskipper point. We'll challenge you to finding a number of specific items and it's your task to find them before everyone else! We'll announce the items at the time.
10pm BST - Christmas In July! I don't know about you but sometimes I get a bit fed up with all the heat in summer. I'd sometimes just like to fast forward time to a colder season. That's why we're having a Christmas in July party!
Head on over to Ice Mountain to enjoy snowball fights, show off your Santa hats and we could even try a spot of caroling just to annoy the Icefiends! If you're feeling particularly festive you could also enjoy some present giving with your fellow players!
11pm BST - Firewalking race or Arms Race challenge! Fancy an odd challenge? Head on over to Edgeville for a fire-walking challenge! Pick a team and select a runner to travel from Edgeville to Falador/Draynor/Lumbridge/Varrock and then back again. The twist though is that they can only move on fires! It's your teams task to place the path of flame so that your runner can win the race!
Not really fussed about a fire race? Fancy something with a bit more of an obvious goal? Well you'll be interested in the Arms Race challenge! The goal is simple, you need to choose to join either the Summer or Winter teams and then pick a group of you to represent your side in a Clan Wars battle! However, it's not that simple. You need to equip your soldiers with armour and weapons your team has crafted themselves! You've got just one hour to get your team equipped so be sure to work with your team mates to make sure you're as coordinated as possible!
Midnight - Summer vs Winter clan wars battle! Time to see which team (Summer or Winter) has the best equipment and the best warriors! You'll have one hour in Clan Wars to win as many matches as possible in this war of seasons!
Midnight - Costume Parade! Don't fancy the Clan Wars match but really got into the Costume competition? Well this parade is for you! Simply meet up in Edgeville in the gear you entered the competition with and we'll have a parade around Gielinor to show off your outfits!
1am - Victory Party It's time for the winning team to party hard with Party Pete in the Falador Party Room! Join your fellow team mates in some victory dancing!
1.30am - Victory parade! You've partied hard, but lets face it, what you really want now is to rub everyones face in your victory! So grab your mates and parade your winning team through the streets of Falador, Varrock, Lumbridge and Rimmington before finally making your way back to where it all began at Mudskipper point.
2am - Fiery finale! It's time to bring the festival to a close so gather once more at Mudskipper point and set the place alight! if you've got a flagstaff you can even plant it in the ground for some extra fireworks!
