Crandor

Crandor is an island you will uncover when you do the Dragon Slayer quest.

Crandor isn't exactly the most peaceful of islands. Its inhabitants include scorpions, moss giants and lesser demons. As dangerous as these opponents are, there is more terror to be found in Crandor Dungeon, where mighty Elvarg awaits a challenge from anyone who dares try to kill her to earn the right to wear runite platebody.


Crandor is a small island located between Entrana and Karamja.

There are two ways you can get to Crandor. The first is the method you use on the Dragon Slayer quest, where you sail in your fixed ship to the island to confront Elvarg.

After completion of the quest, you can gain access to Crandor via a secret wall in the Karamjan volcano dungeon, which leads into Crandor Dungeon.


Although Crandor may seem like it's there just for Elvarg, it is actually quite useful. Warriors return to Crandor to train on the lesser demons, hobgoblins and moss giants that are wandering the island.

The mines on Crandor also boast some much sought ores, such as adamantite.

Ned Ned is an old sailor who specialises in making rope for people who can provide him the materials.

If you are on or have completed the Dragon Slayer quest, you will know that he also helped you gain access to a ship and hence transportation to Crandor.

There are no quests to start on Crandor Island.

Skeleton (Level 14) Skeletons may look harmless and weak, but their lack of muscles is more than made up for by the potent magic that holds them together. If you choose to fight skeletons, you may notice the skeleton's bones will give way when crushing attacks are used.		Hobgoblin (Level 28) Hobgoblins are found in most areas of RuneScape. They are basically a tougher version of goblins, generally using spears to attack.
Skeletons are found in the area near the ship.		Hobgoblins are found on the north-western shore of Crandor.

King Scorpion (Level 34) Adventurers should always be on their guard against scorpions, as they use their dangerous tails for vicious melee attacks.		Moss Giant (Level 42) There are a few moss giants that have found their way to the south-western area of Crandor. Moss giants are quite strong, and will put up a good fight against unprepared warriors.
King scorpions are found on the north-eastern shore of Crandor.

Lesser Demon (Level 82) Just because they are 'lesser', it doesn't make them 'lesser' in terms of danger. Lesser demons are very dangerous to the unprepared warrior, as they can inflict a lot of damage with their demonic strength.

Lesser demons are located on the top of Crandor island, near the entrance to the dungeon.

• Crandor has a few adamantite rocks, should you need to mine them.
