<h1>Software Testing Team Leader</h1>

<p>Jagex Ltd, the UK's leading independent online games studio, is looking for an outstanding individual to lead a team of software testers assuring the quality of company websites and software.</p>
<p>Working within our Software Testing Department, you will be responsible for managing a team of software and senior software testers supporting our internal software development teams. With a good working knowledge of Internet technologies and software development processes, you will be expected to support the company's aspirations to excellence with a focus on ensuring the quality and timely delivery of projects.</p>
<h4>Key Duties Include:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Managing projects assigned to the team, updating schedules and tracking the completion dates</li>
<li>Providing QA support to the Software Testing department</li>
<li>Reporting project status to the Software Testing Manager</li>
<li>Mentoring team members and providing feedback on their work</li>
<li>Fulfilling line management responsibility for the Software Testing department</li>
<li>Testing software tools and system applications</li>
<li>Providing constructive and qualitative feedback</li>
<li>Analysing systems and developing the required tests</li>
<li>Creating structured test scripts and test plans</li>
<li>Providing design input to facilitate module testability</li>
<li>Contributing on a regular basis to improving processes and procedures</li>
<li>Reviewing non-game web-site content</li>
</ul>
<h4>Essential Requirements:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrable experience as a team lead or line manager</li>
<li>Understanding of internet technologies (HTTP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript)</li>
<li>Web / Internet application testing and an understanding of test strategies</li>
<li>Full software testing lifecycle experience</li>
<li>Understanding of test strategies, automated testing and compatibility testing</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail</li>
<li>Good communication skills both verbal and written</li>
<li>Professional approach</li>
<li>Energy, commitment, enthusiasm and a high level of determinationc</li>
</ul>

<h5>Salary</h5>
&pound;25k <20> &pound;40k
+&nbsp;(negotiable, depending on experience), excellent benefits package including annual bonus, private health care and gym membership.
<h5>Location</h5>
Cambridge. Candidates must be able to work in Cambridge or relocate if offered the position.
