Considering that making them requires a high level in a non-combat skill, players felt they had to increase their Herblore level to be able to make these potions, before they could effectively fight players of a similar combat level to themselves. Just look at the incredible stats in the KB. <br> <br>Because the rewards are superior to current weapons, EVERYBODY wants one. Anybody without one will soon find PKing is MUCH harder. This was a reason, as stated by Jagex, to ban extremes. As shown in sentence (B) this applies to Dungeoneering as well. <br> <br>As for sentence (A), the effects are unclear at the moment. However, when extremes were made, people already had the level to make them. As chaotic is brand new, in time the full effect will be known. <br> <br>But since both skills fit, why is one banned and one not? Hypocrites! <br> <br>Ban both or ban neither!

Ok updating this, here is the reason why "combat requirement" does not matter. <br> <br>Besides the fact that overloads require combat and are still banned, this is the other reason. <br>=========== <br>Jagex banned extremes for having "too much impact on pvp". <br> <br>However, it only has "too much impact" because the majority of pkers have high attack and strength. <br> <br>Extremes boost stats based on level, so a player with level 1 strength will only get about 3 levels, compared to 25 levels at 99. @ noble, dungeoneering does not directly affect your combat level, which is all that matters. <br> <br> <br>For example a level 90 without dungeoneering wouldn't stand a chance against a level 90 with all of the benefits of dungeoneering.
