Laying the dead to rest.

The Lumbridge Catacombs are a sprawling network of tombs and crypts accessible via Lumbridge Graveyard. They are the resting place of the necromancer Dragith Nurn. Penitent for his innumerable transgressions against nature and aware that he too was doomed to rise from the grave upon his death, he buried himself alive with his creations.

The Lumbridge Catacombs lay undisturbed for decades, but were uncovered by three Zamorakian cultists whose dark ritual breached the seal and opened the catacombs once more. The dungeon teems with the undead; the product of Dragith Nurn<72>s evil sorcery. Those wishing to test their mettle against the restless dead may delve deep into the bowels of the catacombs in search of forgotten riches and may even encounter the risen necromancer himself!

Lumbridge Catacombs entrance.

Players who have completed The Blood Pact may access the Lumbridge Catacombs via the entrance in Lumbridge Graveyard. The stairs used to access the main section of the catacombs are found where the altar was destroyed at the quest<73>s conclusion. In addition, a shortcut to the altar room will open just inside the surface entrance once the quest is complete.

Deep within the catacombs.

Starting from the northern stairs, the catacombs are a twisting network of tombs and crypts filled with progressively stronger monsters.

As you proceed, you may notice stone plinths dotted about the area. These may have jewelled statuettes upon them which are worth a bounty of gold coins when handed to Xenia, for whom they are nostaligic remembrances of early exploits.

In the southernmost chamber, you will meet the most powerful entity in the dungeon; the risen corpse of Dragith Nurn himself. He fights with all three combat styles, so beginners should take care when facing him.
