History of the Mahjarrat <br><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD><EFBFBD> <br>The Mahjarrat were brought to Gielinor from the world of Freneskae. Icthlarin, the desert god of the dead, took the Mahjarrat with him when he arrived in Gielinor. They took an 'Oath of Obedience' before their arrival on Gielinor, which means Icthlarin did*<2A>t enslave them but hired them like soldiers. The Mahjarrat never saw Ichtlarin as a leader. According to Queen Senliten, the Mahjarrat fought against Zaros when he first started to invade the desert from the North. For years the Mahjarrat served Icthlarin but they left him and started following zaros, the Mahjarrat soon became Zaros' greatest soldiers. <br> <br>Two different theories exist about their shift in leadership. <br>One suggests that Icthlarin abandoned them for their violent behaviour and the fact that their presence &quot;warped&quot; his sister, Amuscut and turned his full attention to aiding his father Tumeken. <br>Another says that Zaros offered the Mahjarrat power in his growing empire, and that the Mahjarrat gladly accepted the offer. <br> <br>Zaros conquered the other gods and created an unrivalled empire in Gielinor. Nearly all of modern-day Misthalin, Asgarnia, northern Morytania, and the Wilderness soon came under his rule. The Mahjarrat, his greatest soldiers, reveled in the bloodshed. <br> <br>The Zarosian Kingdom was one of great prosperity, but the *ahjarrat were not content. They became divided and began to work towards their own goals. The most significant of these was Zamorak(yes the one that now is a god). Zamorak was amongst the strongest beings to ever walk Gielinor. He earned himself the nickname &quot;The Scourge of the Battlefield&quot; proving his power in combat times. This earned him favour with Zaros, who quickly gave him the rank of general. Yet, despite this, Zamorak was not willing to serve Zaros, and even as his kingdom expanded from Senntisten(from edgeville to the digsite), Zamorak plotted against him.

The Staff of Armadyl(a powerfull artifact) eventually fell into Zamorak's hands. With the assistance of individuals such as Zemouregal, Lucien, Lord Drakan, Hazeel, Viggora, and Enakhra, Zamorak devised a way to defeat the Zaros. <br> <br>A great battle raged in Zaros' greatest stronghold. Zamorak attacked Zaros somewhere in the castle. While Zamorak fought, his allies ensured that none of Zaros' bodyguards would interfere. Zamorak impaled Zaros with the Staff. However, Zaros was still immortal and started hitting Zamorak, when than Zamorak also got impaled by the staff. The staff impaled both Zaros and Zamorak, and, acting like a lightning rod, transferred Zaros' power into Zamorak. Zaros faded from existence on Gielinor's plane, while Zamorak seemed to become even more real. Now a god, and infused with enough power to rival the other deities of Gielinor, Zamorak went on to conquer Zaros<6F> empire. Not all Mahjarrat wanted to betray Zaros and some tried to stop this event from happening.

The gods all agreed that Zamorak must be punished. Even as Zamorak stood triumphant, the gods banished him from Gielinor. Not long after his banishment Zamorak returned his godly powers now fully developed. Calling upon his former warriors, Zamorak declared war upon all that opposed him and began the God Wars. Throughout the Wars, the Mahjarrat would prove a good soldiers on the battlefield. The Zamorakian Mahjarrat waged war upon what few Zarosians remained. Most were forced into the Kharidian Desert, where they live as bandits today. The Zarosian Mahjarrat were all imprisoned, killed, or forced into hiding. Four thousand years into the Wars, Guthix awoke from his sleep. Seeing the horrors that had been unleashed upon his world, he demanded an end to the Wars. Guthix banished all the Gods from Gielinor, including Zamorak, though some Mahjarrat continue to serve him even today. By the end of the wars, only a handful of Mahjarrat still survived. Though they continued to serve Zamorak and Zaros, they became very divided in their actions. Today, the Mahjarrat are still working towards an unknown goal, and a few can still be found in the far reaches of Gielinor. While the Zamorakian Mahjarrat continue to increase their power and expand their conquered territory, the few Zarosian faithful remain in hiding and secretly prepare for the revival of Zaros. Most are now travelling to The North to complete The Ritual in order to rejuvenate their lost power while sacrificing one of their number.

After the quest he heads for The North to fight Enakhra(possibly during the ritual) <br> <br>Zemouregal discribes him as: This is an individual who has not been seen since before the God Wars, but his presence is still felt on RuneScape. He was thought to be loyal to Zaros. Akthanakos has re-emerged. Apparently, he and Enakhra were engaged in a continual struggle for thousands of years. He still lives those outdated Zarosian ideals. I just don't get it. I know Zaros freed us from the desert god, but he'll never understand the path of chaos. If Akthanakos can be caught, he could be a good choice for a sacrifice soon. <br> <br> <br> <br>Azzanadra: he is a Zarosian mahjarrat who was imprisoned during the godwars and is freed by an adventurer after he is free he takes a human form and with help from the adventurer he rebuilds an old temple of zaros underneath the digsite. <br> <br>Zemouregal discribes him as: A powerful adversary and Zaros's champion. Has been contained since the early God Wars. We have not dared free him for the Ritual yet. We should do so soon, while numbers of the Zamorakian faction are still high enough to handle him.

Bilrach: he has not been seen ingame yet but he seems to be of averidge power. Nomad could be Bilrach but I think Nomad is just an Elite dark mage not a mahjarrat. <br> <br>Zemouregal discribes him as: Bilrach is of average power for our kind. He seems willing to go along with what I suggest, so he will be useful for now. <br> <br>EDIT: Bilrach has been digging underneath Daemonheim for 500 years and is possibly still digging there. Could he be digging for the stone of Jas or it's imprint?(if that's the case than he could have also launched an assualt on the Fist of Guthix cave)Also Bilrach is most likely just hiding his power from the other mahjarrat and could be the same power level as Zemouregal or even Azzanadra. <br> <br> <br> <br>Enakhra: she is a Zamorakian mahjarrat and the only female mahjarrat that is still alive today she imprisoned Akthanakos and build a temple for Zamorak in the desert. <br> <br>Zemouregal discribes her as: Another who has not been seen since before the God Wars, but whose presence is still felt. She would seem to be the only surviving female Mahjarrat left on this plane. If we could find her, she could be the key to our continued survival here. Well, Enahkra has re-emerged at last. Hazeel: he is one of the only Zamorakian mahjarrat that have been imprisoned he is freed by an adventurer and has gone to the North. <br> <br>Zemouregal discribes him as: One of the Zamorak-aligned faction. A worthy warrior. Generally, I'd consider Hazeel an ally. Hazeel seems to be gaining in power; he has gained many followers and much territory. Disaster has struck for Hazeel: Saradomin-worshiping human filth have managed to defeat him and banished him from the living realms. The question is, will his followers be able to resurrect him before the next ritual? This sentence only appears if you aided the Carnilleans during Hazeel Cult. Well, his followers may have left things rather last-minute, but they've managed it - Hazeel is back in play! <br> <br> <br> <br>Jhallan: he is a neutral mahjarrat he did not betray Zaros BUT there is no evidence of him being Zarosian as of 5-4-2010. One of the weaker mahjarrat he is possibly so weak that he did not show up last ritual and missed it(by hiding underneath the site) but he froze himself too far away and did not recive any power. Jhallan is found in the ice and freed by the adventurer who than freezes him once more but on a spot directly underneath the ritual stone. If Jhallan get's discovered by any mahjarrat the chances are high he will be sacrifised in the upcoming ritual. Lance5 found out by making the cave's map and the rs map overlap that he is not safe and that he is frozen verry close to zemouregal's basement. <br> <br>Zemouregal discribes him as: One of the weakest of our race. He did not even dare attend the last Ritual, so he will be even weaker now. I'm ashamed to even call him a Mahjarrat.
