A tip is to set the cutpoint a few extra seconds before the part you want to keep, that way you will not lose anything. Some editors have trouble opening these files. To workaround this problem, a new cutting mode has been introduced. It can be enabled by toggling the button `nc` *(normal cut)* to `kc` *(keyframe cut)*.
