Introduce bitset metadata format and bitset lowering pass. This patch introduces a new mechanism that allows IR modules to co-operatively build pointer sets corresponding to addresses within a given set of globals. One particular use case for this is to allow a C++ program to efficiently verify (at each call site) that a vtable pointer is in the set of valid vtable pointers for the class or its derived classes. One way of doing this is for a toolchain component to build, for each class, a bit set that maps to the memory region allocated for the vtables, such that each 1 bit in the bit set maps to a valid vtable for that class, and lay out the vtables next to each other, to minimize the total size of the bit sets. The patch introduces a metadata format for representing pointer sets, an '@llvm.bitset.test' intrinsic and an LTO lowering pass that lays out the globals and builds the bitsets, and documents the new feature. [PM] Separate the LoopAnalysisManager from the LoopPassManager and move the latter to the Transforms library. While the loop PM uses an analysis to form the IR units, the current plan is to have the PM itself establish and enforce both loop simplified form and LCSSA. This would be a layering violation in the analysis library. Fundamentally, the idea behind the loop PM is to *transform* loops in addition to running passes over them, so it really seemed like the most natural place to sink this was into the transforms library. We can't just move *everything* because we also have loop analyses that rely on a subset of the invariants. So this patch splits the the loop infrastructure into the analysis management that has to be part of the analysis library, and the transform-aware pass manager. This also required splitting the loop analyses' printer passes out to the transforms library, which makes sense to me as running these will transform the code into LCSSA in theory. I haven't split the unittest though because testing one component without the other seems nearly intractable. Differential Revision: https://reviews.llvm.org/D28452 llvm-svn: 291662

Completely refactor the structuring of unittest CMake files to match the Makefiles, the CMake files in every other part of the LLVM tree, and sanity. This should also restore the output tree structure of all the unit tests, sorry for breaking that, and thanks for letting me know. The fundamental change is to put a CMakeLists.txt file in the unittest directory, with a single test binary produced from it. This has several advantages: - No more weird directory stripping in the unittest macro, allowing it to be used more readily in other projects. - No more directory prefixes on all the source files. - Allows correct and precise use of LLVM's per-directory dependency system. - Allows use of the checking logic for source files that have not been added to the CMake build. This uncovered a file being skipped with CMake in LLVM and one in Clang's unit tests. - Makes Specifying conditional compilation or other custom logic for JIT tests easier. It did require adding the concept of an explicit 'optional' source file to the CMake build so that the missing-file check can skip cases where the file is *supposed* to be missing. =] This is another chunk of refactoring the CMake build in order to make it usable for other clients like CompilerRT / ASan / TSan. Note that this is interdependent with a Clang CMake change. llvm-svn: 158909
