From 7b62f7d2d89f43fe2221019a83bc0788a4d4b747 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Craig Topper Date: Thu, 29 Nov 2018 07:27:38 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] [Inliner] Modify the merging of min-legal-vector-width attribute to better handle when the caller or callee don't have the attribute. Lack of an attribute means that the function hasn't been checked for what vector width it requires. So if the caller or the callee doesn't have the attribute we should make sure the combined function after inlining does not have the attribute. If the caller already doesn't have the attribute we can just avoid adding it. Otherwise if the callee doesn't have the attribute just remove the caller's attribute. llvm-svn: 347841 --- lib/IR/Attributes.cpp | 28 +++++++++++-------- .../Inline/inline-min-legal-vector-width.ll | 17 ++++++++++- 2 files changed, 32 insertions(+), 13 deletions(-) diff --git a/lib/IR/Attributes.cpp b/lib/IR/Attributes.cpp index cdc13843465..ff46debb7a9 100644 --- a/lib/IR/Attributes.cpp +++ b/lib/IR/Attributes.cpp @@ -1685,28 +1685,32 @@ adjustCallerStackProbeSize(Function &Caller, const Function &Callee) { } /// If the inlined function defines a min legal vector width, then ensure -/// the calling function has the same or larger min legal vector width.
