653d361880 Re-commit optimization bisect support (r267022) without new pass manager support.
The original commit was reverted because of a buildbot problem with LazyCallGraph::SCC handling (not related to the OptBisect handling).

fd49f275f8 Initial implementation of optimization bisect support.
This patch implements a optimization bisect feature, which will allow optimizations to be selectively disabled at compile time in order to track down test failures that are caused by incorrect optimizations.

The bisection is enabled using a new command line option (-opt-bisect-limit). Individual passes that may be skipped call the OptBisect object (via an LLVMContext) to see if they should be skipped based on the bisect limit. A finer level of control (disabling individual transformations) can be managed through an addition OptBisect method, but this is not yet used.

The skip checking in this implementation is based on (and replaces) the skipOptnoneFunction check. Where that check was being called, a new call has been inserted in its place which checks the bisect limit and the optnone attribute. A new function call has been added for module and SCC passes that behaves in a similar way.

22dc3bac64 DeadCodeElimination: rewrite to be faster
Same strategy as simplifyInstructionsInBlock. ~1/3 less time
on my test suite. This pass doesn't have many in-tree users,
but getting rid of an O(N^2) worst case and making it cleaner
should at least make it a viable alternative to ADCE, since
it's now consistently somewhat faster.

88fd126216 [PM] Separate the TargetLibraryInfo object from the immutable pass.
The pass is really just a means of accessing a cached instance of the
TargetLibraryInfo object, and this way we can re-use that object for the
new pass manager as its result.

Lots of delta, but nothing interesting happening here. This is the
common pattern that is developing to allow analyses to live in both the
old and new pass manager -- a wrapper pass in the old pass manager
emulates the separation intrinsic to the new pass manager between the
result and pass for analyses.

49a7633378 [PM] Move TargetLibraryInfo into the Analysis library.
While the term "Target" is in the name, it doesn't really have to do
with the LLVM Target library -- this isn't an abstraction which LLVM
targets generally need to implement or extend. It has much more to do
with modeling the various runtime libraries on different OSes and with
different runtime environments. The "target" in this sense is the more
general sense of a target of cross compilation.

This is in preparation for porting this analysis to the new pass
manager.

No functionality changed, and updates inbound for Clang and Polly.

6f9ba6a633 [Modules] Fix potential ODR violations by sinking the DEBUG_TYPE
definition below all of the header #include lines, lib/Transforms/...
edition.

This one is tricky for two reasons. We again have a couple of passes
that define something else before the includes as well. I've sunk their
name macros with the DEBUG_TYPE.

Also, InstCombine contains headers that need DEBUG_TYPE, so now those
headers #define and #undef DEBUG_TYPE around their code, leaving them
well formed modular headers. Fixing these headers was a large motivation
for all of these changes, as "leaky" macros of this form are hard on the
modules implementation.

d7b36fdea7 [Modules] Move InstIterator out of the Support library, where it had no
business.

This header includes Function and BasicBlock and directly uses the
interfaces of both classes. It has to do with the IR, it even has that
in the name. =] Put it in the library it belongs to.

This is one step toward making LLVM's Support library survive a C++
modules bootstrap.

189e175394 Disable most IR-level transform passes on functions marked 'optnone'.
Ideally only those transform passes that run at -O0 remain enabled,
in reality we get as close as we reasonably can.
Passes are responsible for disabling themselves, it's not the job of
the pass manager to do it for them.

4c1f3c24db Move all of the header files which are involved in modelling the LLVM IR
into their new header subdirectory: include/llvm/IR. This matches the
directory structure of lib, and begins to correct a long standing point
of file layout clutter in LLVM.

There are still more header files to move here, but I wanted to handle
them in separate commits to make tracking what files make sense at each
layer easier.

The only really questionable files here are the target intrinsic
tablegen files. But that's a battle I'd rather not fight today.

I've updated both CMake and Makefile build systems (I think, and my
tests think, but I may have missed something).

I've also re-sorted the includes throughout the project. I'll be
committing updates to Clang, DragonEgg, and Polly momentarily.

a490793037 Use the new script to sort the includes of every file under lib.
Sooooo many of these had incorrect or strange main module includes.
I have manually inspected all of these, and fixed the main module
include to be the nearest plausible thing I could find. If you own or
care about any of these source files, I encourage you to take some time
and check that these edits were sensible. I can't have broken anything
(I strictly added headers, and reordered them, never removed), but they
may not be the headers you'd really like to identify as containing the
API being implemented.

Many forward declarations and missing includes were added to a header
files to allow them to parse cleanly when included first. The main
module rule does in fact have its merits. =]

b92d13cc42 Make MemoryBuiltins aware of TargetLibraryInfo.
This disables malloc-specific optimization when -fno-builtin (or -ffreestanding)
is specified. This has been a problem for a long time but became more severe
with the recent memory builtin improvements.

Since the memory builtin functions are used everywhere, this required passing
TLI in many places. This means that functions that now have an optional TLI
argument, like RecursivelyDeleteTriviallyDeadFunctions, won't remove dead
mallocs anymore if the TLI argument is missing. I've updated most passes to do
the right thing.

Fixes PR13694 and probably others.

46990c17f7 Get rid of static constructors for pass registration. Instead, every pass exposes an initializeMyPassFunction(), which
must be called in the pass's constructor. This function uses static dependency declarations to recursively initialize
the pass's dependencies.

Clients that only create passes through the createFooPass() APIs will require no changes. Clients that want to use the
CommandLine options for passes will need to manually call the appropriate initialization functions in PassInitialization.h
before parsing commandline arguments.

I have tested this with all standard configurations of clang and llvm-gcc on Darwin. It is possible that there are problems
with the static dependencies that will only be visible with non-standard options. If you encounter any crash in pass
registration/creation, please send the testcase to me directly.
