Rafael Espindola 5d2ea83b96 Handle common linkage correctly in the gold plugin.

This is the plugin version of pr20882.

This handles the case of every common symbol being in the IR. We will need some
support from gold to handle the case where some symbols are in ELF and some in
the IR.

Low Level Virtual Machine (LLVM)

This directory and its subdirectories contain source code for the Low Level
Virtual Machine, a toolkit for the construction of highly optimized compilers,
optimizers, and runtime environments.

LLVM is open source software. You may freely distribute it under the terms of
the license agreement found in LICENSE.txt.

assistance with LLVM, and in particular docs/GettingStarted.rst for getting
