Evan Cheng d143bfe0a4 Adding support for dag combiner to promote operations for profit. This requires target specific queries. For example, x86 should promote i16 to i32 when it does not impact load folding. 
x86 support is off by default. It can be enabled with -promote-16bit.

Work in progress.

Low Level Virtual Machine (LLVM)
================================

This directory and its subdirectories contain source code for the Low Level
Virtual Machine, a toolkit for the construction of highly optimized compilers,
optimizers, and runtime environments.

LLVM is open source software. You may freely distribute it under the terms of
the license agreement found in LICENSE.txt.
