Website Designer

Jagex Ltd, the UK’s leading independent Online Games Studio, is looking for a talented and passionate website designer to join its online Publishing team.

Working with our in-house technology and front-end websites, you will be responsible for the design of our public facing websites.

Key Duties Include:

• Design exciting new websites with consideration for usability and functionality
• Using your artistic approach to create unique designs that inspire our player community
• Designing new websites from initial concept design through the implementation and production of style guides for future updates

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent web design skills
• Advanced knowledge of Photoshop
• Able to demonstrate good functionality and usability through current online portfolios / sites
• Ability to produce a variety of graphical concepts from brief
• An understanding of usability requirements and user friendly interface design
• Proven track record of designing attractive and well thought-out websites

Desirable Requirements:

• Degree level education in a related subject
• Previous web design experience
• Knowledge of Flash

Details:

Salary

£19k – £28k + (negotiable, depending on experience), excellent benefits package including annual bonus, private health care and gym membership.

Location

Cambridge. Candidates must be able to work in Cambridge or relocate if offered the position.
