Online Product Manager

Cambridge, UK

Jagex Ltd, the UK's leading independent online games studio, is looking for an experienced Online Product Manager to join its marketing team.

Working on a portfolio of products, you will be responsible for analysing and reporting on product performance, driving recommendations in the design of the product to increase market exposure and drive growth and profitability.

Key Duties Include:

  • Assisting the Head of Online Strategy on the direction and prioritisation for assigned franchise(s)
  • Executing launch strategy for new products
  • Maximizing conversion, engagement and monetisation
  • Maintaining a balanced pricing structure and making recommendations for changes to the monetisation mechanics where required
  • Developing a deep understanding of players and the competitive landscape through competitor analysis, market research, user feedback and user behaviours
  • Working closely with developers, games designers and community managers to constantly improve the players' experience
  • Working closely with the marketing team to implement programmes for acquiring, retaining and reactivating players

Essential Requirements:

  • Deep passion for games, with a strong online games background
  • Proven track record of product management within the online space
  • An understanding of games design, game mechanics and reward strategies
  • Proven experience managing products with micro-transaction and subscription monetisation
  • Experience of planning and developing player acquisition and retention programmes
  • High level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills and problem solving ability
  • Good time management skills with demonstrable experience of handling multiple responsibilities concurrently, whilst working under deadline pressures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to communicate enthusiastically, clearly and concisely to groups and individuals
  • Self-motivated, energetic style with a positive "can do" attitude

Details:

Salary
£35k – £40k + (negotiable, depending on experience), excellent benefits package including annual bonus, private health care and gym membership.
Location
Cambridge. Candidates must be able to work in Cambridge or relocate if offered the position.
