e3456e84d6 [CodeGen] Remove unused MachineMemOperand::print wrappers (PR41772)
As noted on PR41772, the static analyzer reports that the MachineMemOperand::print partial wrappers set a number of args to null pointers that were then dereferenced in the actual implementation.

It turns out that these wrappers are not being used at all (hence why we're not seeing any crashes), so I'd like to propose we just get rid of them.

6ef2840386 Fix a bug in the definition of isUnordered on MachineMemOperand
Background: At the moment, we record the AtomicOrdering of an access in the MMO, but also mark any atomic access as volatile in SelectionDAG. GlobalISEL keeps the two separate, but currently doesn't know how to lower an atomic G_LOAD at all. See https://reviews.llvm.org/D57601 for context.

The definition used for unordered was only checking volatility, not atomicity. As noted above, all atomic MMOs are currently also volatile, so this is a latent bug only. Copy the definition used in IR, after auditing the two (2) uses of the function to be sure the desired semantics are the same.

ae65e281f3 Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepo
to reflect the new license.

We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header
entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the
Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach.

Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM
project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers
include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed
code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of
our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and
repository.

c23a93c71f CodeGen: Fix pointer info in SplitVecOp_EXTRACT_VECTOR_ELT/SplitVecRes_INSERT_VECTOR_ELT
Two issues found when doing codegen for splitting vector with non-zero alloca addr space:

DAGTypeLegalizer::SplitVecRes_INSERT_VECTOR_ELT/SplitVecOp_EXTRACT_VECTOR_ELT uses dummy pointer info for creating
SDStore. Since one pointer operand contains multiply and add, InferPointerInfo is unable to
infer the correct pointer info, which ends up with a dummy pointer info for the target to lower
store and results in isel failure. The fix is to introduce MachinePointerInfo::getUnknownStack to
represent MachinePointerInfo which is known in alloca address space but without other information.

TargetLowering::getVectorElementPointer uses value type of pointer in addr space 0 for
multiplication of index and then add it to the pointer. However the pointer may be in an addr
space which has different size than addr space 0. The fix is to use the pointer value type for
index multiplication.

f1cce1cf54 Add an ID field to StackObjects
On AMDGPU SGPR spills are really spilled to another register.
The spiller creates the spills to new frame index objects,
which is used as a placeholder.

This will eventually be replaced with a reference to a position
in a VGPR to write to and the frame index deleted. It is
most likely not a real stack location that can be shared
with another stack object.

This is a problem when StackSlotColoring decides it should
combine a frame index used for a normal VGPR spill with
a real stack location and a frame index used for an SGPR.

Add an ID field so that StackSlotColoring has a way
of knowing the different frame index types are
incompatible.

d382d6f3fc Enhance synchscope representation
OpenCL 2.0 introduces the notion of memory scopes in atomic operations to
global and local memory. These scopes restrict how synchronization is
achieved, which can result in improved performance.

This change extends existing notion of synchronization scopes in LLVM to
support arbitrary scopes expressed as target-specific strings, in addition to
the already defined scopes (single thread, system).

The LLVM IR and MIR syntax for expressing synchronization scopes has changed
to use *syncscope("<scope>")*, where <scope> can be "singlethread" (this
replaces *singlethread* keyword), or a target-specific name. As before, if
the scope is not specified, it defaults to CrossThread/System scope.

  Implementation details:
    - Mapping from synchronization scope name/string to synchronization scope id
      is stored in LLVM context;
    - CrossThread/System and SingleThread scopes are pre-defined to efficiently
      check for known scopes without comparing strings;
    - Synchronization scope names are stored in SYNC_SCOPE_NAMES_BLOCK in
      the bitcode.

b3494afe28 [SelectionDAG] set dereferenceable flag when expanding memcpy/memmove
When SelectionDAG expands memcpy (or memmove) call into a sequence of load and store instructions, it disregards dereferenceable flag even the source pointer is known to be dereferenceable.
This results in an assertion failure if SelectionDAG commonizes a load instruction generated for memcpy with another load instruction for the source pointer.
This patch makes SelectionDAG to set the dereferenceable flag for the load instructions properly to avoid the assertion failure.

eb66b33867 Sort the remaining #include lines in include/... and lib/....
I did this a long time ago with a janky python script, but now
clang-format has built-in support for this. I fed clang-format every
line with a #include and let it re-sort things according to the precise
LLVM rules for include ordering baked into clang-format these days.

I've reverted a number of files where the results of sorting includes
isn't healthy. Either places where we have legacy code relying on
particular include ordering (where possible, I'll fix these separately)
or where we have particular formatting around #include lines that
I didn't want to disturb in this patch.

This patch is *entirely* mechanical. If you get merge conflicts or
anything, just ignore the changes in this patch and run clang-format
over your #include lines in the files.

Sorry for any noise here, but it is important to keep these things
stable. I was seeing an increasing number of patches with irrelevant
re-ordering of #include lines because clang-format was used. This patch
at least isolates that churn, makes it easy to skip when resolving
conflicts, and gets us to a clean baseline (again).

7b1d22a17d PseudoSourceValue: Replace global manager with a manager in a machine function.
This commit removes the global manager variable which is responsible for
storing and allocating pseudo source values and instead it introduces a new
manager class named 'PseudoSourceValueManager'. Machine functions now own an
instance of the pseudo source value manager class.

This commit also modifies the 'get...' methods in the 'MachinePointerInfo'
class to construct pseudo source values using the instance of the pseudo
source value manager object from the machine function.

This commit updates calls to the 'get...' methods from the 'MachinePointerInfo'
class in a lot of different files because those calls now need to pass in a
reference to a machine function to those methods.

This change will make it easier to serialize pseudo source values as it will
enable me to transform the mips specific MipsCallEntry PseudoSourceValue
subclass into two target independent subclasses.

edcfbac252 [BranchFolding] Remove MMOs during tail merge to preserve dependencies.
When tail merging it may be necessary to remove MMOs from memory operations to
ensures later passes (e.g., MI sched) conservatively compute dependencies.
Currently, we only remove the MMO from the common tail if the MMO doesn't match
with the relative instruction in the non-common tail(s).

A more robust solution would be to add multiple MMOs from the duplicate MIs to
the new MI. Currently ScheduleDAGInstrs.cpp ignores all MMOs on instructions
with multiple MMOs, so this solution is equivalent for the time being.

No test case included as this is incredibly difficult to reproduce.

Patch was a collaborative effort between Ana Pazos and myself.

9be4aefa57 AA metadata refactoring (introduce AAMDNodes)
In order to enable the preservation of noalias function parameter information
after inlining, and the representation of block-level __restrict__ pointer
information (etc.), additional kinds of aliasing metadata will be introduced.
This metadata needs to be carried around in AliasAnalysis::Location objects
(and MMOs at the SDAG level), and so we need to generalize the current scheme
(which is hard-coded to just one TBAA MDNode*).

This commit introduces only the necessary refactoring to allow for the
introduction of other aliasing metadata types, but does not actually introduce
any (that will come in a follow-up commit). What it does introduce is a new
AAMDNodes structure to hold all of the aliasing metadata nodes associated with
a particular memory-accessing instruction, and uses that structure instead of
the raw MDNode* in AliasAnalysis::Location, etc.

No functionality change intended.

3c716bae87 Add target flags to MachineMemOperands.
This seems to me an obvious place to allow target passes to annotate
memory operations. There are plenty of bits, and I'm not aware of
another good way for early target passes to propagate hints along to
later passes. Target independent transforms can simply preserve them,
the way they preserve the other flags. Like MachineMemOperands in
general, if the target flags are lost we must still generate correct
code.

This has lots of uses, but I want this flexibility now to make it
easier to work with the new MachineTraceMetrics
analysis. MachineTraceMetrics can gather a lot of information about
instructions based on the surrounding code. This information can be
used to influence postRA machine passes that don't work on SSA form.

Atomic loads and stored are also ordered, and this is the right method

can't be reordered wrt normal loads and stores, which is a stronger
constraint than volatile.
