bf8086d1c1 [llc] (almost) remove --print-machineinstrs
Its effect could be achieved by
`-stop-after`,`-print-after`,`-print-after-all`. But a few tests need to
print MIR after ISel which could not be done with
`-print-after`/`-stop-after` since isel pass does not have commandline name.
That's the reason `--print-machineinstrs` is downgraded to
`--print-after-isel` in this patch. `--print-after-isel` could be
removed after we switch to new pass manager since isel pass would have a
commandline text name to use `print-after` or equivalent switches.

The motivation of this patch is to reduce tests dependency on
would-be-deprecated feature.

Summary: Removed excess new lines from documentations. As far as I can tell, it seems as though restructured text is agnostic to new lines, the use of new lines was inconsistent and had no effect on how the files were being displayed.

f75dcd7d67 [docs][tools] Add missing "program" tags to rst files
Sphinx allows for definitions of command-line options using
`.. option <name>` and references to those options via `:option:<name>`.
However, it looks like there is no scoping of these options by default,
meaning that links can end up pointing to incorrect documents. See for
example the llvm-mca document, which contains references to -o that,
prior to this patch, pointed to a different document. What's worse is
that these links appear to be non-deterministic in which one is picked
(on my machine, some references end up pointing to opt, whereas on the
live docs, they point to llvm-dwarfdump, for example).

The fix is to add the .. program <name> tag. This essentially namespaces
the options (definitions and references) to the named program, ensuring
that the links are kept correct.

22cd29e370 [Remarks] Emit a section containing remark diagnostics metadata
A section containing metadata on remark diagnostics will be emitted if
the flag (-mllvm) -remarks-section is present.

For now, the metadata is:

* a magic number for remarks: "REMARKS\0"
* the version number: a little-endian uint64_t
* the absolute file path to the serialized remark diagnostics: a
  null-terminated string.

f7ea499702 Replace "no-frame-pointer-*" function attributes with "frame-pointer"
Part of the effort to refactoring frame pointer code generation. We used
to use two function attributes "no-frame-pointer-elim" and
"no-frame-pointer-elim-non-leaf" to represent three kinds of frame
pointer usage: (all) frames use frame pointer, (non-leaf) frames use
frame pointer, (none) frame use frame pointer. This CL makes the idea
explicit by using only one enum function attribute "frame-pointer"

Option "-frame-pointer=" replaces "-disable-fp-elim" for tools such as
llc.

"no-frame-pointer-elim" and "no-frame-pointer-elim-non-leaf" are still
supported for easy migration to "frame-pointer".

tests are mostly updated with

// replace command line args ‘-disable-fp-elim=false’ with ‘-frame-pointer=none’
grep -iIrnl '\-disable-fp-elim=false' * | xargs sed -i '' -e "s/-disable-fp-elim=false/-frame-pointer=none/g"

// replace command line args ‘-disable-fp-elim’ with ‘-frame-pointer=all’
grep -iIrnl '\-disable-fp-elim' * | xargs sed -i '' -e "s/-disable-fp-elim/-frame-pointer=all/g"

d3fdef109a [MC] Function stack size section.
Re applying after fixing issues in the diff, sorry for any painful conflicts/merges!

Original RFC: http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/llvm-dev/2017-August/117028.html

This change adds a '.stack-size' section containing metadata on function stack sizes to output ELF files behind the new -stack-size-section flag. The section contains pairs of function symbol references (8 byte) and stack sizes (unsigned LEB128).

The contents of this section can be used to measure changes to stack sizes between different versions of the compiler or a source base. The advantage of having a section is that we can extract this information when examining binaries that we didn't build, and it allows users and tools easy access to that information just by referencing the binary.

There is a follow up change to add an option to clang.

Thanks.

75f12574da [EABI] Add LLVM support for -meabi flag
"GCC requires the freestanding environment provide memcpy, memmove, memset
and memcmp": https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-5.2.0/gcc/Standards.html

Hence in GNUEABI targets LLVM should not convert 'memops' to their equivalent
'__aeabi_memops'. This convertion violates GCC contract.

The -meabi flag controls whether or not LLVM will modify 'memops' in GNUEABI
targets.

Without -meabi: use the triple default EABI.
With -meabi=default: use the triple default EABI.
With -meabi=gnu: use 'memops'.
With -meabi=4 or -meabi=5: use '__aeabi_memops'.
With -meabi set to an unknown value: same as -meabi=default.

ade468f2c3 Remove LowerInvoke's obsolete "-enable-correct-eh-support" option
This option caused LowerInvoke to generate code using SJLJ-based
exception handling, but there is no code left that interprets the
jmp_buf stack that the resulting code maintained (llvm.sjljeh.jblist).
This option has been obsolete for a while, and replaced by
SjLjEHPrepare.

This leaves the default behaviour of LowerInvoke, which is to convert
invokes to calls.
