e20914df74 Revert "Revert of D49126 [PredicateInfo] Use custom mangling to support ssa_copy with unnamed types."
This reverts commit 77080a1eb6061df2dcfae8ac84b85ad4d1e02031.

This change introduced issues detected with EXPENSIVE_CHECKS. Reverting to restore the
needed function cleanup. A next patch will then just improve on the name mangling.

4f1fd1c209 [Attributor] Change function internalization to not replace uses in internalized callers
The current implementation of function internalization creats a copy of each
function and replaces every use. This has the downside that the external
versions of the functions will call into the internalized versions of the
functions. This prevents them from being fully independent of eachother. This
patch replaces the current internalization scheme with a method that creates
all the copies of the functions intended to be internalized first and then
replaces the uses as long as their caller is not already internalized.

276fcebbe0 [AArch64] Legalize MVT::i64x8 in DAG isel lowering
This patch legalizes the Machine Value Type introduced in D94096 for loads
and stores. A new target hook named getAsmOperandValueType() is added which
maps i512 to MVT::i64x8. GlobalISel falls back to DAG for legalization.

5b7208da36 [OpenMP] Folding threadLimit and numThreads when single value in kernels
The device runtime contains several calls to `__kmpc_get_hardware_num_threads_in_block`
and `__kmpc_get_hardware_num_blocks`. If the thread_limit and the num_teams are constant,
these calls can be folded to the constant value.

In this patch we use the already introduced `AAFoldRuntimeCall` and the `NumTeams` and
`NumThreads` kernel attributes (to be introduced in a different patch) to fold these functions.
The code checks all the kernels, and if their attributes match, the functions are folded.

In the future we will explore specializing for multiple values of NumThreads and NumTeams.

bab6d38daf [DAGCombiner] Fold SETCC(FREEZE(x),const) to FREEZE(SETCC(x,const)) if SETCC is used by BRCOND
This patch adds a peephole optimization `SETCC(FREEZE(x),const)` => `FREEZE(SETCC(x,const))`
if the SETCC is only used by BRCOND.

Combined with `BRCOND(FREEZE(X)) => BRCOND(X)`, this leads to a nice improvement in the generated assembly when x is a masked loaded value.

AAValueSimplify, AAValueConstantRange, and AAPotentialValues all look at
the IR by default. If queried for a IR position which has a
simplification callback we should either look at the callback return, or
give up. We do the latter for now.

6516543c4b Add jump-threading optimization for deterministic finite automata
The current JumpThreading pass does not jump thread loops since it can
result in irreducible control flow that harms other optimizations. This
prevents switch statements inside a loop from being optimized to use
unconditional branches.

This code pattern occurs in the core_state_transition function of
Coremark. The state machine can be implemented manually with goto
statements resulting in a large runtime improvement, and this transform
makes the switch implementation match the goto version in performance.

This patch specifically targets switch statements inside a loop that
have the opportunity to be threaded. Once it identifies an opportunity,
it creates new paths that branch directly to the correct code block.
For example, the left CFG could be transformed to the right CFG:

2b967460b4 [SystemZ][z/OS] Initial code to generate assembly files on z/OS
- This patch consists of the bare basic code needed in order to generate some assembly for the z/OS target.
- Only the .text and the .bss sections are added for now.
- The relevant MCSectionGOFF/Symbol interfaces have been added. This enables us to print out the GOFF machine code sections.
- This patch enables us to add simple lit tests wherever possible, and contribute to the testing coverage for the z/OS target
- Further improvements and additions will be made in future patches.

23f3f90569 Strip undef implying attributes when moving calls
When hoisting/moving calls to locations, we strip unknown metadata. Such calls are usually marked `speculatable`, i.e. they are guaranteed to not cause undefined behaviour when run anywhere. So, we should strip attributes that can cause immediate undefined behaviour if those attributes are not valid in the context where the call is moved to.

This patch introduces such an API and uses it in relevant passes. See
updated tests.

adf33c8470 [DebugInfo][InstrRef] Correctly update DBG_PHIs during instr scheduling
Avoid several crashes when DBG_INSTR_REF and DBG_PHI instructions are fed
to the instruction scheduler. DBG_INSTR_REFs should be treated like
DBG_LABELs, and just ignored for the purpose of scheduling [0].

DBG_PHIs however behave much more like DBG_VALUEs: they refer to register
operands, and if some register defs get shuffled around during instruction
scheduling, there's a risk that the debug instr will refer to the wrong
value. There's already a facility for updating DBG_VALUEs to reflect this;
add DBG_PHI to the list of instructions that it will update.

[0] Suboptimal, but it's what instr scheduling does right now.

2e863e863d [DebugInfo][LoopStrengthReduction] SCEV-based salvaging for LSR
This patch extends salvaging of debuginfo in the Loop Strength Reduction
(LSR) pass by translating Scalar Evaluations (SCEV) into DIExpressions.
The method is as follows:
- Cache dbg.value intrinsics that are salvageable.
- Obtain a loop Induction Variable (IV) from ScalarExpressionExpander or
  the loop header.
- Translate the IV SCEV into an expression that recovers the current
  loop iteration count. Combine this with the dbg.value's location
  op SCEV to create a DIExpression that salvages the value.

e8ead0fbb2 [Debug-Info][llvm-dwarfdump] Don't try to dump location
list for attributes that don't have the loclist class.

Summary: The overflow error occurs when we try to dump
location list for those attributes that do not have the
loclist class, like DW_AT_count and DW_AT_byte_size.
After re-reviewed the entire list, I sorted those
attributes into two parts, one for dumping location list
and one for dumping the location expression.

d08c2fabb8 [ORC] Require ExecutorProcessControl when constructing an ExecutionSession.
Wrapper function call and dispatch handler helpers are moved to
ExecutionSession, and existing EPC-based tools are re-written to take an
ExecutionSession argument instead.

Requiring an ExecutorProcessControl instance simplifies existing EPC based
utilities (which only need to take an ES now), and should encourage more
utilities to use the EPC interface. It also simplifies process termination,
since the session can automatically call ExecutorProcessControl::disconnect
(previously this had to be done manually, and carefully ordered with the
rest of JIT tear-down to work correctly).

Eliminating loads/stores in the device code is worth the extra effort,
especially for the new device runtime.

At the same time we do not compute AAExecutionDomain for non-device code
anymore, there is no point.

86cba7bf5e [InstSimplify] Expose generic interface for replaced operand simplification
Users, especially the Attributor, might replace multiple operands at
once. The actual implementation of simplifyWithOpReplaced is able to
handle that just fine, the interface was simply not allowing to replace
more than one operand at a time. This is exposing a more generic
interface without intended changes for existing code.

95f415bd34 [Attributor] Delete dead stores
D106185 allows us to determine if a store is needed easily. Using that
knowledge we can start to delete dead stores.

In AAIsDead we now track more state as an instruction can be dead (= the
old optimisitc state) or just "removable". A store instruction can be
removable while being very much alive, e.g., if it stores a constant
into an alloca or internal global. If we would pretend it was dead
instead of only removablewe we would ignore it when we determine what
values a load can see, so that is not what we want.

5ee3942ae7 [Attributor] Introduce getPotentialCopiesOfStoredValue and use it
This patch introduces `getPotentialCopiesOfStoredValue` which uses
AAPointerInfo to determine all "aliases" or "potential copies" of a
value that is stored into memory. This operation can fail but if it
succeeds it means we can visit all "uses" of a value even if it is
temporarily stored in memory.

There are two users for the function:
  1) `Attributor::checkForAllUses` which will now ignore the value use
     in a store if all "potential copies" can be identified and instead
     be visited. This allows various AAs, including AAPointerInfo
     itself, to look through memory.
  2) `AANoCapture` which uses a custom use tracking through the
     CaptureTracker interface and therefore needs to be thought
     explicitly.

1c2cdfcee3 [GlobalISel] Add scalar widening for G_MERGE_VALUES destination
This adds support for the case where

WideSize = DstSize + K * SrcSize

In this case, we can pad the G_MERGE_VALUES instruction with K extra undef
values with width SrcSize. Then the destination can be handled via
widenScalarDst.

33d35b0a79 [CodeView] Saturate values bigger than supported by APInt.
This fixes an assert firing when compiling code which involves 128 bit
integrals.

This would trigger runtime checks similar to this:
```
Assertion failed: getMinSignedBits() <= 64 && "Too many bits for int64_t", file llvm/include/llvm/ADT/APInt.h, line 1646
```

To get around this, we just saturate those big values.

a85a7951e1 Fix clang debug info irgen of i128 enums
DIEnumerator stores an APInt as of April 2020, so now we don't need to
truncate the enumerator value to 64 bits. Fixes assertions during IRGen.

3ef6cc6cad [LAA] Remove RuntimeCheckingPtrGroup::RtCheck member (NFC).
This patch removes RtCheck from RuntimeCheckingPtrGroup to make it
possible to construct RuntimeCheckingPtrGroup objects without a
RuntimePointerChecking object. This should make it easier to
re-use the code to generate runtime checks, e.g. in D102834.

RtCheck was only used to access the pointer info for a given index.
Instead, the start and end expressions can be passed directly.

For code-gen, we also need to know the address space to use. This can
also be explicitly passed at construction.

81afdbc83c [SystemZ] Add support for new cpu architecture - arch14
This patch adds support for the next-generation arch14
CPU architecture to the SystemZ backend.

This includes:
- Basic support for the new processor and its features.
- Detection of arch14 as host processor.
- Assembler/disassembler support for new instructions.
- New LLVM intrinsics for certain new instructions.
- Support for low-level builtins mapped to new LLVM intrinsics.
- New high-level intrinsics in vecintrin.h.
- Indicate support by defining  __VEC__ == 10304.

Note: No currently available Z system supports the arch14
architecture.  Once new systems become available, the
official system name will be added as supported -march name.

bab200ac44 [IR] Consider non-willreturn as side effect (PR50511)
This adjusts mayHaveSideEffect() to return true for !willReturn()
instructions. Just like other side-effects, non-willreturn calls
(aka "divergence") cannot be removed and cannot be reordered relative
to other side effects. This fixes a number of bugs where
non-willreturn calls are either incorrectly dropped or moved. In
particular, it also fixes the last open problem in
https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50511.

I performed a cursory review of all current mayHaveSideEffect()
uses, which convinced me that these are indeed the desired default
semantics. Places that do not want to consider non-willreturn as a
sideeffect generally do not want mayHaveSideEffect() semantics at
all. I identified two such cases, which are addressed by D106591
and D106742. Finally, there is a use in SCEV for which we don't
really have an appropriate API right now -- what it wants is
basically "would this be considered forward progress". I've just
spelled out the previous semantics there.

d7917544a3 [Inliner] Make the CallPenalty configurable
Tests with multiple benchmarks, like Embench [1], showed that the
CallPenalty magic number has the most influence on inlining decisions
when optimizing for size.

On the other hand, there was no good default value for this parameter.
Some benchmarks profited strongly from a reduced call penalty. On
example is the picojpeg benchmark compiled for RISC-V, which got 6%
smaller with a CallPenalty of 10 instead of 12. Other benchmarks
increased in size, like matmult.

This commit makes the compromise of turning the magic number constant of
CallPenalty into a configurable value. This introduces the flag
`--inline-call-penalty`. With that flag users can fine tune the inliner
to their needs.

The CallPenalty constant was also used for loops. This commit replaces
the CallPenalty constant with a new LoopPenalty constant that is now
used instead.

2d2e4a1b17 [Analysis] Add simple cost model for strict (in-order) reductions
I have added a new FastMathFlags parameter to getArithmeticReductionCost
to indicate what type of reduction we are performing:

  1. Tree-wise. This is the typical fast-math reduction that involves
  continually splitting a vector up into halves and adding each
  half together until we get a scalar result. This is the default
  behaviour for integers, whereas for floating point we only do this
  if reassociation is allowed.
  2. Ordered. This now allows us to estimate the cost of performing
  a strict vector reduction by treating it as a series of scalar
  operations in lane order. This is the case when FP reassociation
  is not permitted. For scalable vectors this is more difficult
  because at compile time we do not know how many lanes there are,
  and so we use the worst case maximum vscale value.

I have also fixed getTypeBasedIntrinsicInstrCost to pass in the
FastMathFlags, which meant fixing up some X86 tests where we always
assumed the vector.reduce.fadd/mul intrinsics were 'fast'.

New tests have been added here:

ed5a269ff1 [Attributes] Clean up handling of UB implying attributes (NFC)
Rather than adding methods for dropping these attributes in
various places, add a function that returns an AttrBuilder with
these attributes, which can then be used with existing methods
for dropping attributes. This is with an eye on D104641, which
also needs to drop them from returns, not just parameters.

Also be more explicit about the semantics of the method in the
documentation. Refer to UB rather than Undef, which is what this
is actually about.
